@Mobiledesktop I personally think that the hate for Angela Rayner (to spell her surname correctly) is mostly based in horrific classism. We've seen how the Eton and Oxbridge educated politicians are functioning, so let's not assume that education is everything. Rayner's personal style is abrasive, her grammar may not be perfect, but I'd rather have her (a person who has held real jobs in the real world) than any of the current load of hot air we currently have.

And of course 'diversity' isn't just about skin colour - it's also about background, especially in the UK.

The thing is , I'm from the same area as Angela Rayner ( if anything a rougher estate) but she is painfully thick even by Stockport's standards.
It's just insulting to suggest that these people that have come through the shortlisting route are the best we have as a country.
Yet, you will criticize and call the Tories all day long and wear blinkers when it comes to Labour.
What about Claudia Webbe , the Leicester MP that has finally gone? No other British political party could put these cretins up as candidates.
