To ask for a handhold I feel so alone

I'm due to have a 6/7 week scan tomorrow after multiple miscarriages (double figures) and I've got period like cramps and bleeding.

I've been bleeding on and off for 2 weeks, no clots.

I feel so alone and I just want to cancel my scan in the morning. Time and time again I've sat in that waiting area, I've had to listen to the "I'm sorry" words, I've had to sit in the family room with a useless leaflet about miscarriage and a box of tissues.

I'm not religious but I could really do with some positive thoughts being put out there for me tonight, I'm not sure I can endure another loss 😢

Your words just really resonated with me: I only had one miscarriage, the heartache, wanting so much to be a mum, autoimmune disease, the hope, joy, happiness, the love (even with slobber 😂). I sadly lost our baby last year but I’m now 15 weeks pregnant with a baby boy who is healthy so far!

Tilly is amazing, she’s full of laughter, cheekiness, she talks ALOT (DH would say she’s like me 😂) and she has learned how to sign a few words. I’m always so proud of her.

I gave birth to a healthy baby boy on 6th September, Thomas.

Tilly adores being a big sister although she had some difficulty with the big change at first but I feel doubly blessed!
