Just interested if anyone else would choose not to or if I’m on my own with this one? Will stick with him for this lifetime though

Absolutely 100% yes, my husband has given me a life I could only have dreamed off. We have had many ups and downs but cannot imagine being married to anyone else!
It’s our 14th wedding anniversary next week.

Umbellifer · 05/10/2022 20:02

Nope, sadly he turned out to be abusive.

TicTac80 · 05/10/2022 20:03

No, sadly he became an alcoholic. It’s why he’s my XH now.

PurplePansy05 · 05/10/2022 20:03

No.

In a heartbeat.

Alfixnm · 05/10/2022 20:04

I definitely would. 17 years together, 1 young DC has tested things at times but I'm so lucky to have him and he will always be the one for me!

ComebackQueen · 05/10/2022 20:04

Most definitely not.
i always maintain that I shall love him in every lifetime.

QuietQuietBang · 05/10/2022 20:04

Yes, without a doubt. I couldn’t imagine being with anyone else, or being single.

Hoolihan · 05/10/2022 20:05

No I wouldn't and I think in my heart lf hearts I even knew it at the time. But the kids are amazing so there's that.

BigEnergy · 05/10/2022 20:05

Weirdly yes, even though he's now my ex, as the first few years of our marriage were ok and we got on well as friends throughout. I'd either have not had kids altogether with him or would have left him sooner though.

ComebackQueen · 05/10/2022 20:05

I don’t know why it said NOT.

it should have said most definitely!

This is lovely

Fantina · 05/10/2022 20:06

No. I ignored all the warning signs of abuse and married him anyway. I’m finally rebuilding my life 20 years too late after I eventually divorced him.

Some days I don’t even know if I’d forgo having my children so I could get back all those lost years.

Lancrelady80 · 05/10/2022 20:06

In a heartbeat

Benjaminsniddlegrass · 05/10/2022 20:07

Yes I'd always choose him, we're only married 3 years but together nearly 15 years.

MrsTerryPratchett · 05/10/2022 20:07

Current DH I would marry again over and over. He's wonderful.

ExH although not good at all, I might still because I love my life now and everything that went before got me here. Yuk and <shudder> though.

Menopants · 05/10/2022 20:08

nope

Rinatinabina · 05/10/2022 20:08

Yup, not sure about the kid though (hard hard week with the toddler)

LetUsPonce · 05/10/2022 20:08

No. I think I suspected I'd made the wrong choice even before we married. But it's now 25+ years and I can't see me changing it.

Enko · 05/10/2022 20:09

Things I'd do differently but yes I'd marry him again..... I think 😀

TiaraBoo · 05/10/2022 20:09

No

Fairislefandango · 05/10/2022 20:10

Yes, definitely. We've been together 21 years. It wasn't until I discovered the MN Relationships board that I realised quite how fortunate I am.

ValerieDoonican · 05/10/2022 20:10

Yep.
