To question my DH about the bizarre items ive found?

NameChangeHoney · 03/10/2022 12:06

I've been away for work, I have come back to find items that certainly aren't mine, some quite bizarre things. A top, pink nail clippers, womens razor, small makeup pallete, all things that don't belong to me. My DD had also said to me on face time when I was away that DH was talking to a lady in the shower on the phone (she is only 5) so I didn't question her I just left it.
He also keeps checking my phone when I'm not in the room which is adding to my suspicion as that isnt normal behaviour for him.
I feel a bit silly really, it's a few random items but I know they do not belong to me and i feel like hes being weird. I'm not sure now if I'm over thinking or if I should genuinely ask him who the fuck the pink nail clippers belong to 😳😂AIBU to ask or am I being a twat? How do I go forward with this? Any help greatly appreciated.

You found four items left behind when you from a trip away items that would seem to belong to a woman and you didn't immediately say 'who does this stuff belong to? It's not mine.'
i can't even begin to fathom this. Reported.

You don't have to report things you know.

It's a grown up forum, and if the Op isn't telling the truth, I'm sure we are all old enough to just have a bit of a laugh with it.

They're probably on the other phone he's taken to the bathroom with him...

Probably has a 2nd phone.

KimberleyClark · 03/10/2022 14:30

Has your DD ever had a sleepover? Might she have picked up these things?

WeepingSomnambulist · 03/10/2022 14:27

Good chance there is nothing on his phone. They all know how they get caught, so deleting everything from their chat and call history with the OW is the smart play.

Given their have been four items left behind, I am not sure if it is an OW that they are trying to keep this secret?

Booklover3 · 03/10/2022 14:30

That’s very weird behaviour. I know for a fact my OH wouldn’t act that way. I think your OH has gone to have a shower to think about how to dodge the issue. He’s stalling for time

BadNomad · 03/10/2022 14:31

Go in to settings and turn on all notifications and sounds.

Crankley · 03/10/2022 14:31

So he's taking a shower, AKA grabbing thinking time to come up with anything he thinks you will believe other than the truth.

crowsfeet57 · 03/10/2022 14:31

Seems like she left them there for you to find

THIS

Dottielottie123 · 03/10/2022 14:32

On whatsap have you looked in the archived? As most people swipe and remove the chat it ends up in there unless you literally scroll down and click delete! Whatsap call log? Anyone he’s searched for on Facebook and insta? Does he maybe have Snapchat?

CustardySergeant · 03/10/2022 14:34

He'll have another phone.

Bookworm20 · 03/10/2022 14:35

When you say nothing. you mean nothing in there at all? or nothing suspicious?

Bear in mind it could be someone you know.

Chickydoo · 03/10/2022 14:35

Another phone most likely

Crikeyalmighty · 03/10/2022 14:37

By nothing in these sections , do you mean nothing at all or nothing incriminating- because it's rare someone would constantly wipe everything on a phone unless hiding something .

Bunce1 · 03/10/2022 14:40

Feel for you op- I hope you can get some answers!

NameChangeHoney · 03/10/2022 14:41

Him and his mother slagging me off.
He also seems to have a porn addiction. Disgusting.
I can't seem to find any thing from another woman though.

Do people leave nail clippers around 5 year olds?

Yeah my kids are bloody terrified of them.

I accidentally got my 3 year olds skin (this wad after alot of reassurance that they would not hurt her, i live that guilt everyday) and I've never been aloud to cut her nails again, That they know of.
I now wait til they're asleep haha

MsDogLady · 03/10/2022 14:43

He’s obviously had a woman over. I doubt you will find evidence on his phone, as he would have been deleting. His OW has deviously and strategically placed her top, make up, and grooming accessories in places she knows you’ll see.

He keeps checking your phone because he fears someone saw OW coming/going or she has issued an ultimatum/threat. He has no clue that she has left evidence for you to find.

I’m really sorry that you are facing this.

ThreeRingCircus · 03/10/2022 14:44

He's in the bloody bathroom with his second phone right now.

OP, your daughter told you there was a lady in the shower and then you found items in the shower.

Besides, if I came home and DH said "who do these items belong to?" and I genuinely had no idea I sure as hell wouldn't just saunter off for a shower I'd be wondering where the heck they'd come from and trying to think up answers alongside DH. His calm reaction (and insulting you) tells me he's 100% guilty.

girlmom21 · 03/10/2022 14:45

Confront him as though you found something OP. Make him sweat. Let him think he forgot to delete something.

middleofthelittle · 03/10/2022 14:46

OP does he have an iPhone?
You can get to deleted interest history through the safari settings in general setting advanced. Google it and it will tell you.

NameChangeHoney · 03/10/2022 14:49

IVE GOT HIM!!!! She's on blocked contacts on WhatsApp and on his phone in the recycling bin. I've just saved her number in my phone. He can have his phone back now and pack his things. That's all I needed to see. C*nt.
