No TV here and I’ve never paid for the licence as I don’t watch any live TV. I don’t even know how that would be possible through a laptop without access to it.

I’ve listened to BBC radio for many years but if they changed it so a licence was needed for that, I’d probably just stop listening tbh.

How can it be an over generalisation when it's an accurate account of the people I know? You might indeed watch a lot of live TV but the majority of the people I know use some form of stream service and most don't watch live TV. I don't think my experience is that unusual?

It was the fact that you originally said 'Most people use streaming services', which you can't possibly know, rather than qualifying it by saying most people you personally know, as you have here.
