to think that I really can't be the only person who hadnt noticed this?!

Years of owning a smartphone, years of using my clock app for timers, alarms etc and YESTERDAY I realised that the app button on my homescreen shows the actualy time and not just a stylised picture of a clock!

I noticed it and thought "Oh its 4pm and its on 4pm...what a coincidence" in that way you do when the time is 12:34 or 12:21 or whatever. Nothing particularly interesting, you just notice it.

Then a couple of hours later it was showing ten past six....blew my mind!

Here’s one for you car owners. Near the petrol gauge on your car is a petrol pump logo. Beside it should be an arrow. The arrow points to the side of your car where the petrol cap is - useful for hire cars etc.

Have also been in the cave as have never noticed this. Impressed with the super smooth second hand that a pp pointed out too 😆. I'm easily pleased!

my iPhone weather one doesn't. It's always the same.

I’d never noticed this either but just noticed and my clock app icon does indeed show the actual time.

I knew this. But I have an iPhone and the clock ‘icon’ really is very much a clock, whereas the picture @Crunchymum shared does look more like an icon, if that makes sense, so not sure I’d have realised if mine looked like that. Here’s how it looks on the iPhone

That's how it looks on YOUR I phone, it looks nothing like that in mine. Just a black & white clock.

This is incorrect sadly! I was so excited when I read this before but it sadly just isn't true for all cars.
