DS is 13 and suddenly has taken an interest in ‘fashion’ which mostly seems to be dressing in all black sports logos and puffa
jackets. Nike trainers, puma joggers, north face hoody - you get the idea.

oh, and calling us ‘fam’ every frigging minute,

given that he’s a white, MC kid, in a MC area at a MC school ( state but uniform with tie/blazer/shirt etc) with all that comes with that, I think it’s annoying/amusing and that he’ll grow out of this fake ‘street’ phase.

DH on the other hand thinks that he’s dressing. like a drug dealer and we should go buy him some Boden or something.

Yes, DS is fearful of the Barbers, well as you say the ones that are reasonable as he hates the outcome and says they hack his top flop off and give him an awful 'Dad cut'. Tbh the fear means he has a bit of a mullet going on but he doesn't particularly want one of those.

North Face used to be a good brand for outdoors so was probably from then, however it's been worn down by association. It's still very pricey however plenty of faces are available like Burberry back in day.

my FIL wears a North Face jacket. I have Nike runners. DP has an Addidas running top… it’s not individual items… it’s the ‘look’…
