To not want neighbours touching my parcels

AIBU to not want neighbours touching my parcels.

I live in a big converted town house. There is a flat on each floor. I live on the second floor.

My neighbour who lives in the attic (5th floor) always seems to touch my parcels.

All post is delivered by the main entrance way on the ground floor. When he walks past to collect his parcels, he picks up any other ones that belong to other flats, and drops them off outside their front doors on the way up to his.

He's doing a nice thing and like a PP said - you're being a knob

Cas112 · 31/08/2022 12:22

How awful of him

CrapBag39 · 31/08/2022 12:22

Helpful little prick.

SunnyD44 · 31/08/2022 12:23

What a lovely man!

Are you ok with the delivery drivers touching them?
And the people who pack them and load them on to the van etc?

Sunnyqueen · 31/08/2022 12:23

Fucking hell imagine being neighbourly and doing you a favour and you still find a way to fucking whine about it 😂😂😂

Floydthebarber · 31/08/2022 12:24

What a nice man. Like the flat equivalent of the people who take their neighbours' bins back when they have been collected.

GreenSeaGlass · 31/08/2022 12:15

Are you Christian Bale?

🤣🤣🤣

fancytulip · 31/08/2022 12:27

What an arsehole. Does he have cooties?

IncompleteSenten · 31/08/2022 12:27

Why?

Considering how many people will have handled the parcel by the time it gets to you, what is it about him touching it that bothers you.

Cigarettesaftersex1 · 31/08/2022 12:03

What a bastard he is

OMG this made me laugh more than it probably should have 😂

DenholmElliot1 · 31/08/2022 12:29

How do you who is putting the parcels outside your door?

Meraas · 31/08/2022 12:30

I live in a big converted town house

Not sure why we need to know it's big, or that he lives in the attic. I'm sensing some superiority.

MrsSplendiferous · 31/08/2022 12:30

Unless he’s touching it with his Willy or licking them I’m finding it hard to see why you have a problem
what are you ordering ? Something naughty? 🤣

BuenoSucia · 31/08/2022 12:31

It’s bad enough with civilised society going down the shitter and then this…. This MAN bringing your post to your door! 🤬

Goosygandy · 31/08/2022 12:32

Maybe go and live on the North Pole or a desert island....

Crappydoo · 31/08/2022 12:33

Are you quite well?...

SalviaOfficinalis · 31/08/2022 12:33

I think I saw him licking the last one he delivered OP.

BobDear · 31/08/2022 12:33

Call Women's Aid
Log it with 111
Get a friend to stay over
Install CCTV
Insist he wears a hazmat suit
Speak to HR

or
Just say 'thanks'.

ApolloandDaphne · 31/08/2022 12:34

He sounds very kind and thoughtful. If you want him to stop them tell him so, but you risk damaging a nice friendly neighbour relationship.

What a cunt.

First up against the wall in the revolution. 🔫🔫🔫

The dripfeed will be that yes it is to do with covid, then something about anxiety, then someone will come along and say I know what you mean OP, ignore these bitches, covid hasn't gone anyway YaNnO etc. etc. etc.

Astounding · 31/08/2022 12:37

Why not?
i live in a block of 35 flats and I’d be really happy if someone did this and saved me having to go get them.

RobertsRadio · 31/08/2022 12:37

Interesting first post on here Op.

2/10 = Fail

SiobhanSharpe · 31/08/2022 12:37

Sounds like Extreme Mumsnet-ism Syndrome. Do you never answer the door, engage with neighbours and keep your curtains closed all day too? Seek help.

That's kind of him.
