Lazy river ownership

Currently on holiday exploring the pool area.

We decided to go for an adventure, we adventured (my wife and I) to the private villas (swim up), we then adventured back (on a nice floaty).

On the way back we heard a comment from a private villa occupant that the adventure path was reserved for private villa occupants. No signage to say can't go down it and we were quiet, just wanted to see what was up that part of the pool.

Being my good self I wholeheartedly intend to adventure there again. AIBU, I most definitely think so.

Absolutely no signage, I suspect it's mildly frowned upon but it was a stellar jaunt.

It was the op who reanimated the thread which I guess is allowable. Having not seen it before I'm thoroughly enjoying the concept of an 'adventure' on a lilo along a 'river' round a resort. 😂

😂 Nice work OP. This made me chuckle, although I’m probably offending some of the mardy arses having a go at you previously. Hopefully they’ll have found millions of other thing to moan about over the past 2 years so they’ll be less offended by your adventuring. Adventure on I say!

If the river is connected to a pool I think it's fine.

If it is an enclosed area you might be pushing it. But how do they know you're not in one of the other swim up rooms?

How would they even know you're not from a private villa? Are the private villa residents branded or something to make them identifiable?! 🤣

It's a bit sad that this seems to be the highlight of your holiday.
