because i really could have smacked the ignorant fuck witted poor excuse of a human being! as he made a comment about me being fat as i walked past him in a restaurant,his wife and small children were sitting with him.....what a great example hes setting for them

ok im overweight,im overweight because i have an eating disorder which ive battled with for 20 years.....for all he knew i could be overweight due to illness....what a total prick!

A few young lads were taking the p*ss out of me whilst jogging this week and I just stopped, looked at them, and asked them if their knew how hurtful their behaviour was. They looked suitably ashamed.

YANBU - so glad all your family were there with you.

I was in Tesco once with DC and I must admit I did look a scruff bag - had just thrown on scruffy clothes to go to the park with the kids and had not showered that day in my defence I did have a three year old and was breastfeeding at the time. Extremely well and expensively dressed couple at the next till - wife said in a low voice (but I heard!) to husband "Thats what no education and a bunch of kids will do for you" and both looked at me and sniggered. I waited till level with them at the end of the till and then phoned my Mum to tell her loudly and in my poshest voice what the rude couple at the next till were saying about me. They honestly went scarlet and were dropping all their shopping everywhere in their efforts to get away from me and my loud telephone conversation that everyone around could hear.

Some people are just ignorant and it takes a better person to ignore. TBH I feel sorry for people who feel such a need to make horrid comments to people, he must be very insecure! Being a larger lady myself i have found that if people are bothered about your weight they aint worth knowing!

fireflyfairie, he made the comment to his family obviously thinking he was hillariously funny and that i couldnt hear so was a bit shocked when i stopped dead in my tracks and turned round and gave him the filthiest look ever before returning to my table and announcing what the bald ugly prick ahd just said!!
