Porn culture has led to women suffering injuries during sex

Apart from all the violence etc porn portrays as normal, anal sex is definitely treated as an everyday thing that women enjoy. I don't personally. I know some women claim they do but I've certainly known men who pressure for it and I'm guessing it's only got worse in the years since I was dating.

This article suggests women are unknowingly entering into something that can cause serious injuries.

I work for the ambulance service…..we go to a lot of (mainly) men who have inserted the strangest of items up their rectums ! Weirdest one was an entire honeydew melon !!! He was in agony and needed surgery to remove it !!!

Oh my fucking god 😮

here sorry to derail serious thread.

@11GrumpsaGrumping well said! It's generally only a problem if done incorrectly. Like most sexual practices infact.
After reading the OP I did wonder how many pearl clutchers would comment in horror 😂

Well thank goodness for the finding in this case. I hope it sets a nationwid precedent.

I personally LOVE it, it feels amazing but I keep it as a rare treat. It has always been for both our pleasure.
But I also agree it shouldn't be seen as a mainstream thing, no-one should be pressurised, it shouldn't be this frequent act. I feel bad for saying that though because for gay men it's their everyday sex.

RunningSME · 26/08/2022 17:34

A rare treat used to be bingo, half a shandy and a bag of salt and vinegar. Look how far we have come….

You think people didn't have anal sex in the 80's?

sunglassesonthetable · 26/08/2022 17:43

It's like women masturbating. Didn't happen.

Doyoumind · 26/08/2022 17:49

The original article suggests its popularity has grown, not that no one did it.

And I'm guessing you're a stranger to humour.

Popularity might have grown

Or people might be more open to discussing it

As we've seen from the older posts many on here shamed others when younger and it was taught as a dirty thing to many teen girls

Please read why I stated that.

It was a blanket statement that women can’t possibly enjoy anal sex.

Why is it only women that can’t enjoy anal sex, when plenty of men do.

I think we are talking to the same point.

There aren’t and shouldn’t be different views on this for women. Safety information provided, sure! But to suggest that no woman can ever enjoy this (but make no mention of the fact that no men, nor indeed no person can ever enjoy this) is not on.

And anyone can refuse to to this. Of course. That wasn’t the point of my post.

Men have a prostate gland. Women don't.

This means that anal sex is much more pleasurable for men, because they have a sexual organ directly stimulated by the activity. Women don't.

That doesn't mean no women can enjoy anal sex, of course, but it does point to a very clear anatomical difference between the sexes, making the activity much more rewarding for one of them than the other.
