Even historically speaking they have no reason to be angry at women, women never had any power, mostly tried to accommodate to men’s demand/ wants, I think it still goes on.

Many women still tip toe the line to placate men.

I think if you see equality as men having to give up something they make for women your really just defining equality as men providing for women.

I think if we ever reach lasting equality it will come through women creating more for themselves, not for always wanting to be let into what men do or make - that’s not equality, it’s just using men really.

But maybe we can’t do that on an equal level? What happens then?

Incels don't want to pay for sex. They think women owe them sex - paying for it goes against their belief that they have a right to have sex with any woman they choose

They are less than percentage of to population.

l can' t relate to all men hate women, its a victim mentality, women are not hapless victims but this seems to be general concensus on here.

I think this is easy to say of you haven't seen or been on the receiving end of mens power over women.
It's not about being a hapless victim, it's knowing that men can (and do) kill women just for being women.

No one is making men who started their own companies give up part of it to women. No one. This is a scenario you have created in your head to force an agenda that men shouldn't have to allow equality to happen.

Men currently make most of the rules. In order to get equality that has to change.

Yeah I mean they keep going out there and shooting women (and sometimes men) but sure we should make a comedy about it. Is that before or after the comedy about terrorists.

Lets not forget that many countries consider incels to be violent extremist/hate groups. Perfect comedy material there.

When someone questioned Germaine Greer on exactly this topic - surely she was paranoid, exaggerating etc - she replied 'women have no idea how much men hate them'. I think she's right, and I'm happily married with a nice son and plenty of really lovely male friends/colleagues.

It's biologically hard-wired, and while we can mitigate its effects by education, example, legislation etc, I don't think we can eradicate it completely, or reach all strata of men. All we can really do is be wary and keep up the fight (as above - education etc). I don't see it changing.

I'm like (probably) a lot of women on MN. I know nice, civilised, considerate men who have never caused me any problems in real life. But sometimes I'm confronted with what an awful lot of men are like and it does chill my blood a bit. I'm afraid I think the veneer of civilisation for many people really is very thin and could easily be cast aside. Look at what happens in war scenarios.

Sorry to be so downbeat, but the more realistic we are about this, the better we can manage the situation.

There are actual men's groups that are classified by governments as 'hate groups' incels being one of them. And the thing they hate - women.

There are no women's groups classed as hate groups because they hate men.

So if you need proof that some men hate women, governments have made it official.

It's hormones, muscle, skeletal make up, blood vessels. To name but a few.
