Now you know what impact this heat will have (schools closing, travel chaos, threat to life) will it make you take climate change more seriously?

China are using the same amount of concrete every three years that the USA used in the entire 20th Century, and it is increasing.
Considering the energy and resources required to make concrete, and the environment it then replaces, one might be forgiven for thinking our frantic rinsing of yoghurt pots is in vain.

To be fair to China a lot of their output is producing cheap crap for us in the west.

It’s going to be a tough ask. Looking at the response on some threads whom here which seems to be buy some more - this time air con.

Or maybe we’ll see more pools in U.K.

Both will be the top incomes though and at the bottom things will feel worse as things get strained. Here not as much as poorer countries admittedly
