I posted a thread earlier this week about Giles Coren’s article in which he used the words “fuzzy-wuzzies” which some Mumsnetterz assure me is seriously sophisticated satire, and not dog-whistle racism.

I wonder what Mumsnet thinks of Giles Coren’s article ‘Farewell to Palms’ which is about masturbation. For those who think it is TL; DR:

@QueSyrahSyrah How did you discover that a guest had wanked into the sofa? Coren seems to imply that he got away with it for years and that his unsuspecting family just kept sitting on it.

Well, The Times employs him as a restaurant reviewer for a start and he also does joint articles about lock down with his wife Esther Walker as well as an irritatingly smug podcast. The BBC used to employ him as he was on their Amazing Hotels programme with Monica Galetti, but he hasn’t been on TV for a while. But I wonder if he has been cancelled phased out and that his TV career is over following the repeated racism incidents and after he celebrated Dawn Foster’s death.
