Maya Forstater WON. We should all breathe a sigh of relief. And organisations hr departments need to ensure they no longer discriminate for recognising biological reality. What a brilliant day for women.

This with bells on, it's fantastic and depressing at the same time

Yes quite.

This is a cautionary tale on just how quickly freedoms and protections can be eroded and, ultimately, lost. Quite possibly forever if the reaction isn’t strong enough.

No one should ever have to be afraid to state absolute truth and fact.

AlisonDonut · 06/07/2022 12:09

Lets not forget her crime.

Leaving a leaflet on her desk.

I'm over the moon with this, it won't affect me as I've retired but this should allow people to put an end to HR departments acting on Stonewall Law.

HeyHeyer · 06/07/2022 12:12

It's excellent news!

So, employees are protected from the wrath of employers for both believing and saying that women are a sex class? I mean, it was necessary but, fuck me, how far we have fallen.

This with great, big, clanging bells on

elgreco · 06/07/2022 12:12

Brilliant.

Palladin · 06/07/2022 12:12

A victory for common sense and free speech!

BudgetTarzan · 06/07/2022 12:13

Well done Maya.

But I am equally astonished and horrified that it got this far. Anyone with less (fewer?) balls than Maya might have caved. I can't begin to imagine how stressful it's been.

Johnnysgirl · 06/07/2022 12:13

God, this is fabulous news!

OneOfThoseOldFashionedWomen · 06/07/2022 12:14

We can not underestimate how important this is.

Fantastic news!

Igmum · 06/07/2022 12:16

How wonderful! I followed this on Tribunal Tweets and was horrified at what happened. So relieved Maya finally has justice.

nzborn · 06/07/2022 12:18

unname · 06/07/2022 12:18

So ridiculous this had to be even discussed once, never mind for this length of time and expense.

Benjaminsniddlegrass · 06/07/2022 12:28

Yay, Maya! But it's such a bitter-sweet victory for reasons other posters have stated.

NiqueNique · 06/07/2022 12:35

It must have taken such a toll. 💐 to you, Maya!

Nigelladamascena · 06/07/2022 12:39

Fantastic! Well done Maya 👏

dropthevipers · 06/07/2022 12:43

Well, that's fantastic. I have a vision in my mind of workplaces and schools/universities up and down the land where the Koolaid gang are told to shove it.

EdithStourton · 06/07/2022 12:44

Excellent news - congratulations to Maya.
