Maya Forstater WON. We should all breathe a sigh of relief. And organisations hr departments need to ensure they no longer discriminate for recognising biological reality. What a brilliant day for women.

I think the reason why Maya induces such rage in the TRA side is because she has been so impeccably moderate in how she has expressed her views on sex and gender. A crack legal team spent months raking over everything she had written and tweeted on the subject, and THE WORST thing they could find she said was that Philip Bunce was a man in a dress (what exactly about Pip Bunce isnt a man in a dress?).

The tribunal panel were unanimous. Her views are ordinary. She has not harassed anyone. Indeed, she was victimised on the basis of her entirely moderate expression of wholly sensible and lawful views.

This is why she is so dangerous. She forces the truth out into the open. Beauty on this thread is a fantastic example. She cant actually point at anything Maya has said that is so wrong, (she is another policer of women's tone). She wants a world where laws are based on protecting peoples feelings rather than on facts and material reality. How can this possibly work? Some TW are offended by me saying they are not women, i am mortally offended by males saying it is possible to identify into womanhood. Whose feelings matter most? How can we legislate on this basis?

Maya has bust wide open the intellectual bankruptcy that is at the heart of gender ideology, and that genii aint going back in the bottle.

It really did need to go to a tribunal didn't it...just to prove how moderate these 'extreme' views are.

Johnnysgirl · 07/07/2022 09:54

Open playing field for people saying what they like if its "true". God help us.
When has speaking the truth ever been (or should) something to fear?
Your posts are incredibly odd @beautyisthefaceisee
It's like you're extraordinarily angry about something you haven't the words to articulate, so you make various peculiar stabs in the dark and hope one lands...
Sad, really, that you keep going.

No, as I recall, he saw Rachel Dolezal as a wicked imposter playing a deliberate trick. He therefore found the comparison with transgenderism offensive ("it's offensive!") on those grounds. He spluttered about how Rachel had begged someone not to tell others about her true origins, as this demonstrated her calculated dishonesty. It obviously never occurred to him that one could equally liken this to a TW afraid of being "outed"...

However, "identity is reality", without which "we are all corpses".

(Rachel D's transracialism didn't count as a legitimate Identity in the Gospel according to Luke Easley).

We're both right (although I was wrong about at which point he'd said it)!
He said that RD is an imposter:

(this may have been the EAT)

and originally - Nov 2019 - said 'the reality is she's black'

One question beauty, and honesty would be appreciated - have you read the judgement? Do you understand what actually happened? You seem a bit muddled.

The answer from another threads is no.

And they have no intention of reading anything about the trail, including the details about what happened and who the defendants actually were and their actions.

They are very upfront about this.

Just a repeat of her crime.

Leaving a leaflet on her desk, that referred to a government consultation.

That's it.

c'mon lets be fair - she also asked awkward questions on twitter, and pointed out inconvenient facts...

/smh

I so happy she won and so gutted she needed to

Notmanybroadbeans · 07/07/2022 13:47

Ah yes, @LaughingPriest ! I had forgotten his incredible ability to passionately believe in so many conflicting ideas all at once, and without noticing.
