Made me go weak at the knees and I can’t stop thinking about it. Fairly confident I am the only woman in the country who feels like this and I should probably refer myself for some kind of aversion therapy.

Before Wednesday I had the same Raab is a wanker opinions as the rest of you. Sorry, I just needed to tell someone.

Politicians are politicians, 80s. Party loyalties never stop them getting their leg over.

It's interesting that accents can lead us to make assumptions about their backgrounds, though. His posh, hers definitely not, and without knowing anything about them we assume he comes from a privileged background and she comes from somewhere rougher. I had no idea about him and still don't about her, but I've still made assumptions about them. It's very unfair both ways but everyone does it all the time.

I hate now that I made assumptions. It's as bad as those who think AR is too 'working class ' for Glyndeborne. Still not keen on him, but that's just his politics and how he comes across in interviews etc.

Not sexy at all. I think it was all part of the pantomime and the wink was almost a challenge inviting AR to give as good as she got; there would be no hard feelings. They both looked like they were enjoying it but I think it's quite immature to be sparring over who was at the opera and who was squeezing donors for cash when there are much bigger issues to deal with.

I love a good sexy cheeky wink. It works for me 99% of the time but he actually looks like he struggling with his eye or even beginning to have a stroke.

Quite a few of the Tory front bench are first generation immigrants and/ or arrived in U.K. as children. Raab is one of them but there are others too.
And Liz Truss is from a working class lefty background and spent her childhood with her mum in Greenam Common.
So not “posh “ for many of them.

Patel too. Not that you'd ever guess. Given the choice Raab and Patel would never grant immigrants the rights their immigrant parents were given.
