To get my hair cut like this at 42 years old?

I really like this cut. But is it a bit “young” for a 42 year old woman? My friend said I am too old for a cut like this.

Wow. I literally just watched a documentary on Alexander MacQueen last night and his sister was in it. She has the exact same haircut and I was thinking that's what I want to do with my hair.

She was wearing gorgeous chandelier earrings and looked fantastic. I say do it!

I have had a full fringe for the past 50 years with hairstyles of different shapes and lengths , I simply can't imagine NOT having one!

No you're nor whatsoever. I'm 38 and have similar one. Tell her to naff off probs jealous. Get it done and get yourself new outfit for nxt time you see her. My mum always used to say if people are jealous of you then give them more reason to be, by dressing up, hair done, make up on. 42 isn't 65. Prime of life.

The style is absolutely fine - just discuss with your hairdresser that it will suit you and your hair type.

A friend has a similar haircut. When she gets it cut, she usually says 'Oooh wait till you see my hair. I've gone a bit mad!" It always looks exactly the same to me. Bob. Fringe. Sometimes one of those things is a bit shorter.

I don't say that, I just tell her her hair looks nice, because I love her. But all I see is Bob. Fringe. Bob. Fringe. Bob Fringe is everywhere on women in their 30's/40's: wtf is your 'friend' on about?
