The interview with Oprah and her faux shock was just so cringe.
I think for such privilege to be complaining is SO tone deaf to so many.
Loyalty within families is important IMO.
I think by talking so poorly about their family, they really let themselves down.
However, I can well imagine a demanding American going down like a lead balloon and indeed being bitched about and briefed against.
I think a lot of people forget just how demanding some "celebrities" can be.
They really do have this snapped finger syndrome.
I have an old American friend of 30+ years who works with many A listers because of her field of work.
She offers a very particular skill set/service
that is quite specialised and is used by both adults and teens.
She's very talent and genuinely passionate about her work.
She gets results.
I think SHE is a bit high maintenance, though of course SHE certainly wouldn't think so.
However, the stories she has told me of some of the behaviour she has heard of and witnessed, will tell you that some are rude, demanding and very unreasonable to deal with and tantrums are definitely not unheard of.
Whilst she certainly hasn't been mistreated, she has witnessed and heard stories.
The staff and PA's of a lot of these people have very tough jobs and many wouldn't do their job for twice the money they make.
I can well imagine that expectations could have been ill matched, and as a bit of a perfectionist they might well have pushed back, hard, against her demanding American celebrity requests.
Briefing against her and them was an easy way to put manners on them, make them feel uneasy about those around them.
Also I really agree with above, that the Oprah interview was the clusterfxxk that has done them final, and irreparable damage within their family, that they will unlikely ever recover from it.
If they hadn't done this, things might well have calmed down and moved forward peaceably.
Unfortunately, Harry has shown himself to be IMO, a very dim witted man, the Hitler outfit from years ago really exhibited such a staggering lack of judgement, that
expectations of him really should have been very low going forward.
