Where were you at at 32?

Hello,

I am married with 2 kids and an ok job (£4 per hour over NMW)

every one on mumsnet seems to earn millions!!

I feel so filled with envy when I hear of people from school that have done well, should I have achieved more with my life?

don’t want to feel like a failure as obviously that is just negative.

32 was 4 years ago for me. My DC were 3 and 5 and we were just renting out our little house and heading off for a stint abroad. I was a teacher and taught internationally - loved it. Came back 1 year ago - started a new career back in December (okay money but with plenty of room for growth and promotion) we bought our dream house a few weeks ago and I'm really happy with where I am now. Things were a lot different 4 years ago - so much can happen, half of it totally unexpected.
