I’m bored of; the shitty nappies, the crying, the whining, the coaxing to do absolutely everything, the cheery ‘well done’s’ as they do the same fucking thing agaiiiin, the infinite laundry, the tantrums, the streams of snot and oh my god I’m bored of fucking BING

Any sane human has to find the repetition bone achingly boring?

@Giraffesandbottoms but of course any comment I make is in my experience and any comment you make is from your experience. That’s a given. And the whole point of starting the thread to see where I am on the scale of parental drudgery. It seems the majority (75%) agree that it’s boring A F. That doesn’t mean your experience and opinion isn’t valid, it’s been interesting to read.

I’ll hold on to that hope that I’ll start enjoying it again soon😅. 2YO cuddled the 1YO when he cried today and said ‘baby crying hurt’ and well .. didn’t care about the washing basket then did it.. no I just wept at how cute it was.

I'm just honestly baffled af how anybody doesn't find it boring. Every day my three year old refuses to get dressed. Every day I have the same fucking battle. Every night my 18 month old cries when she goes to bed. These are 2 examples but there are countless throughout the day. It's bloody awful.

@DueyCheatemAndHow I hear yah - today I whispered ‘please just make this easy for me, just today, please’ as I chased a rogue foot around trying to put a sock on. He is 1 he has literally no ducking idea what I’m saying 🥹😅ahwell.
