AnastasiaRomanov · 31/03/2022 17:57

@A580Hojas

A hairy handed troll posting nonsense surrounded by overflowing ashtrays and empty pizza boxes.
😂😂
Mummadeze · 31/03/2022 17:59

Eats a lot less than I do and is slightly judgey about people being overweight. Wears clothes that I think are a waste of money from shops I have never been in. And would definitely look down on me for being an adult and wearing Mickey Mouse hoodies from Primark (which they also disapprove of for ethical reasons). Good at cooking, organised but drinks too much wine and gin, which they laugh off.

Inthesameboatatmo · 31/03/2022 18:09

Never shits in the en suite and has a penis beaker on the bedside table.

Trixiefirecracker · 31/03/2022 19:07

Gets unnecessarily worked up about sex scenes in Bridgerton and porn star martinis being sold in Pizza Express.

Kione · 31/03/2022 19:32

Why not loo brush? Is that linked to having a cleaner, or their shot doesn't stain?

derxa · 31/03/2022 20:05

@LuckySantangelo35

Yeah everyone lives “very rurally” often don’t drive either. Given how built up the uk is, I just can’t see how it’s possible for so many to be living very rurally!
The 'don't drive' thing must be nonsense. Most of us 'live rurally' types pass our driving tests on the day of our 17th birthday.
PeeAche2 · 31/03/2022 21:36

@ThatsNotItAtAll

A higher percentage of Scottish women must be MNers than any other nationality I believe.
"I'm in Scotland, if that makes a difference"
derxa · 31/03/2022 22:12

I'm Scottish

Oilyoilyoilgob · 31/03/2022 22:25

Pursed lips

Lives in the Cotswolds
Scared of London
Scared of trans people
Would like to have exciting sex but settles for boring sex because she's boring
Wipes her children's face too much because she's scared of germs

GriddleScone · 01/04/2022 09:09

I'm obviously reading the wrong threads:

Anxiety issues
Skint
DCs with LDs
Abusive ex DH
Unhealthy relationship with mil
In denial about cheating partners

UnnecessaryFennel · 01/04/2022 09:24

@Confusedandanxiety

White. In her 40s. Lives in the south east of England, although could originally be from anywhere in the UK. Married to a white man. Middle class. Degree educated, as is her husband. Earns at least £45K, household income £100K plus. Homeowner. Drives a newish Volvo/Citroen estate. Teenage children who pass all their GCSEs, A-Levels and go to uni. They most likely went to a state school, but could have attended private school too. Would be devastated if her kids went to college to do hairdressing, plumbing etc. Would never go to Dubai, not too keen on the Caribbean either. Drinks too much wine in the evening. Thinks of herself as liberal. Feminist. Is horrified if a household has no books. No TV in the bedrooms. TV in living room less than 40 inches. Hates the word 'belly'. Wears Cos, Toast, Coast, Boden, & Other Stories. Could be size 8 - 16, but no bigger. Breastfeeding enthusiast. Was into indie music in the 90s. Polite in person, but can be scathing online. Intelligent.
Oh fuck this is me (except I drive a very old Citroen hatchback and think & Other Stories is mainly polyester shite Grin)
Electrox · 01/04/2022 09:37

Swishy brown hair with subtle highlights
Children called Otto, Tabitha, Atticus and Mabel
Live in 'North London'
Ditch their egalitarianism to send their children to private school
Is probably more unreasonable than they realise

SafeMove · 01/04/2022 09:59

I'd absolutely love if my DC were to do apprenticeships in plumbing, building, electric installations, gas engineering etc. Mainly so they can do free, handy stuff for me in my house. My dad is very handy but getting older and less able now.

Instead one is off to do music, the other loves horseriding and art and the middle one is looking at software development. My DC are much more MN than me! I am a bit rough. They are much more middle class, I think it's because I gave them quite middle class names by accident Grin

I often wonder what the children of MN are like. I have a really idyllic view of them, with their organic weaning, their extra curricular activities, boden dresses and parents who actually encourage education (my Dad is embarrassed by my education and would rather die than admit I am doing a doctorate, he just tells everyone he doesn't know what I do at work).

5128gap · 01/04/2022 10:05

If you have an idyllic view of the MN 'DC' you've been on different threads to me! They're a bunch of precocious, over sensitive, 'high spirited' little tyrants who rule their household with rods of iron!Grin

NorthernSoul55 · 01/04/2022 10:11

@BigWoollyJumpers

Anyone reading any of these, and thinking, FUCK! That's me! Grin.
Haven't found me yet. Mumsnetters are: 20 years younger than me 20lbs lighter Appear to have a household income 20x mine
WearyLady · 01/04/2022 10:21

Going by the above, it seems I'm too bloody old to be a mumsnetter. Ho Hum. I wonder if Saga have a similar forum? ...

Agreed. However, the "tall, skinny, hollow legged, naturally beautiful (everyone tells us!)" trope seems to hold up even amongst the more demonically inclined. Also "bright but lazy".

I am currently an infant and children's health researcher in the most deprived area of the North and was a children's SW (hint: a multicultural city). It has dire levels of infant mortality, children's oral decay and obesity and extremely poor life course health outcomes in the UK. The tyrants may be a PITA but they are alive, safe and are healthy. Seems pretty idyllic to me Grin
SafeMove · 01/04/2022 10:31

Or more like they 'seem' alive, safe and healthy. I can only go on what people post and that might not be the whole truth, I know!
