Bintymcbintface, but just in case -
the name of what you're calling Southern Ireland is actually Ireland, or Éire if (and only if) you're communicating in Irish. It's sometimes known as the Republic of Ireland too, though that's really a description of the state rather than an official name.
There
was a Southern Ireland briefly , around 1921/22. It did have a different flag (a bit like a Union Jack plus harp in the middle). It was part of the UK, George V was monarch at the time. It hasn't existed for about 100 years now.
Anyway, back to the Russians..
