To have huge admiration for the Ukrainian president?

The man seems quite incredible. I didn’t know much about him until now but he seems incredibly brave and intelligent. Was just reading an article about how he has been tirelessly and successfully speaking to western leaders to get stiffer sanctions and support implemented, I really hope he remains safe.

He qualified as a lawyer first.

He then decided he didn't want to be a lawyer and wanted to go into comedy.

unlike Bozo he is all talk and no action. We'd be screwed if we were in Ukraine's shoes with twat face at the helm - he'd b#gger off on holiday, miss all the meetings then get caught partying while everyone else was bunkered down in the tube tunnels.

Actually, I think he'd be very easily paid off by Putin and stay on as a puppet PM.

Fans might be interested to know that tonight, at 10.35pm, Channel 4 is showing the comedy drama series "Servant of the People", which is the series where Zelenskyy plays a teacher who accidentally becomes the President. C4 has certainly timed this well as there is so much interest in Z right now. I will be watching to learn more about this interesting man, while having uncomfortable thoughts that the reality of Z's current situation is definitely no cause for laughter. I wonder if the series will change perceptions of Z in any way?

Just came back to say I love the microphone reference that Zelensky did. Brilliant.

He's just bollocked Parliament for wasting time changing the words to the national anthem:
"I would also like to say a few words to those politicians, some deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine who absolutely do not understand what is happening in the hearts of our people. They don't understand it so much that they even decided to change the national anthem. I have a question for these people: what have you done in your life to give you the moral right to change the words of the anthem? Are you outstanding poets? Maybe you excelled in the battles for Ukraine? Or now is such a time that you can change the anthem whenever you want?
Cool down emotions. Stop pretending to be fools. I believe that the authors of these and other similar bills, proposals, should take up arms and go to the battlefield, if you have these opportunities. Only there will you understand something.
