Never heard of the word which is the answer to Wordle today. Anyone else the same?

I know I got it, but I've totally forgotten what it was!

I wouldn't say it's uncommon in the UK. If you do your own decorating it's a common product to use.

I never heard of it, but I got it because I had the first 4 letters and just needed to try out a 5th until one was a recognised word.

Never heard the word before but got it by a process of elimination!

I'm fairly confident I could get it in one guess from reading this thread 😂

I think complaining about "spoilers" is a bit odd on a thread that is clearly going to be discussing the word.

Aroma was yesterday (unless you had a link to the legacy site in which case it was Agora which genuinely is tricky).

Unfortunately those on the legacy site had the same one people got yesterday

Theres two words for wordle atm those who haven't went on the nytimes new link to it haven't got the updated new one.
My husband has the new one i have the old one.

Yesterday and todays answers on the old one were very very similar.

I got it in 3, DP's a plumber though and I've seen it before on supplies

I work for a plumbing company so I guess thats why I got it.

I got it in 4, put a rhyming word in 3, so damnit I could have had it in 3 goes. I've known this word since I was little, read about it in relation to boats then, and also know the DIY use. I wouldn't have thought it was an Americanism.

I got today's in three but there was a very easy word last week or so that I almost missed out on - it was "could" or "light" or something equally basic. I only just squeaked in with that one - and yet today I got a word that I barely know in just three guesses.

It’s a very common word, I wouldn’t think twice about it. I don’t know how people are getting the legacy site though, when I go to Powerlanguage it automatically redirects me to NYT.

I got it in three, but only because there was only one vowel left.

And we are an American family :)

yesterday I got the word first attempt! I don't see that happening again.

Today took me 5 attempts.
