To wonder how you feel today if you voted for Boris Johnson at the last election?

It’s absolutely no surprise that Boris is behaving in this way but I cannot actually believe that we have a prime minister like this. He is utterly morally bankrupt. If you voted for him how do you feel now?

OP posts:

So no change then no need for Labour to listen to women for example. Despite pledging to listen more after Corbyn’s defeat.

Ok well maybe they can do without some of the votes. We’ll see

And here comes the name Corbyn again. It's like showing a crufix to a vampire - if tory voters are questioned about the 11 years of conservative government and the mess they been making since Cameron, they throw the name Corbyn into the ring hoping it would act as a yuyu.

For whatever is worth, Corbyin respected women way FAR MORE than the mysoginist, elite, cheating assholes that are in power right now.

As I said...insanity. And it rest on the shoulders of voters. Deceive me once is their fault, deceive me 2, 3, 4 times, it's mine.

MarshaBradyo · 02/02/2022 08:43

Of course his name comes up the op is talking about the last election Confused

He was there I take it.

Yes Labour need to listen more. Doing the same as last time is madness

Hopefully they will

MarshaBradyo · 02/02/2022 08:48

Re woman the most important issue is definition in law, for me and dd

Alondra · 02/02/2022 08:53

Stop making this about Labour. It's not. They haven't been in power for 11 years. You don't know what they would have done, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN IN GOVERNMENT.

Your Conservative goverment has been and and it has now a PM who is a clown and has only one policy in mind - HIMSELF.

MarshaBradyo · 02/02/2022 08:54

Shout away if it helps but if Labour want to win they need to work out how, which starts with listening

Notonthestairs · 02/02/2022 08:58

And what do the Conservatives do for disabled women or women living in poverty or women carers?

I have experienced first hand the cuts to services over the last decade and the ever longer travel distances to get appropriate support. I know it is getting steadily worse not better.

And before any asks how I'd feel about a trans woman caring for my daughter I'd ask them if they knew how bloody difficult it is to access any kind of care at all.

Alondra · 02/02/2022 08:58

You seem to have one track mind with Labor which is what to expect from someone who keeps defending Boris and the Conservatives.

As I said insane. And as I'm not insane if I keep posting to you is doing the same thing - over and over you are giving the same answers - deflecting to Labor.

On your own.

MarshaBradyo · 02/02/2022 09:02

I am looking to Labour because I’m a floating voter who has voted for them before.

I’m easily won back but the issue re women is too important to me to give sex based rights away

I don’t know who I’ll vote for yet and I’d love Labour to get it together

But there’s a lower chance if they don’t listen to people

I don’t know why people are being obtuse. The OP is very clear!“

Because it’s much easier than admitting they got it badly wrong.

Blossomtoes · 02/02/2022 10:33

@Overthebow

I didn’t vote for the conservatives at the last election but if there was an election tomorrow I actually probably would this time. I don’t like BJ but the rest of the Conservative party have really pulled it together the last couple of years and the country has got through the pandemic relatively well financially and I agree with the strategy going on now. Labour on the other hand have barely contributed anything and I don’t believe they would have done a better job.
Jesus. This frightens the crap out of me. That anyone could say this of the most corrupt government of my lifetime - and I’m 70 next year - is just terrifying. What exactly do you expect the opposition to “contribute”? Clearly you don’t understand what the opposition’s for - the clue’s in the name.
Moonmelodies · 02/02/2022 10:44

People considering a Labour government could look to Wales, where they have been in charge since devolution.

DdraigGoch · 02/02/2022 11:08

@Momijin

As my university lecturer friend said at the time 'I don't understand why poor people voted to keep themselves poor' I'm just amazed that people are stubbornly continuing to back someone who is clearly laughing at them, has nothing but contempt for them and only has the interest of his rich friends at heart. I mean, you gotta be pretty....
Well they'd voted Labour for generations and that clearly hadn't got them anywhere. So they had to try something else. When you've got nothing left to lose...
Blossomtoes · 02/02/2022 12:17

If you genuinely think that you need to revise your understanding of 20th century history.

They've done surprisingly well and still for the most part control the senedd, they've done well with the shockingly low level of funding, considering the English pillaged the resources of Wales for centuries, we're given from Toryshire over the border
stressedy · 02/02/2022 20:57

i hope like an utter twat!

StoneofDestiny · 02/02/2022 22:06

This PM is totally corrupt, he has proved himself to be a prolific liar, a racist, amoral self serving Bawbag. He cannot even admit to how many children he has, cannot even make a serious speech to the CBI (Peppa Pig anyone?), cannot control what goes on in 10 Downing St, is under investigation by the police for breaking the law and has misled Parliament. The Bullingdon hooligan has turned out to be everything most of us predicted. Yet some people on here, despite all the evidence, think he is a proper person to run the country.

StoneofDestiny · 02/02/2022 22:08

And as for Johnson's lies about Starmer and Savile - let's not forget who supported Savile and who Savile supported

To wonder how you feel today if you voted for Boris Johnson at the last election?
StoneofDestiny · 02/02/2022 22:11

Vomit inducing. And remember, Johnson admires Thatcher.

To wonder how you feel today if you voted for Boris Johnson at the last election?
StoneofDestiny · 02/02/2022 22:18

Johnson and the Tories cannot keep order in 10 Downing St yet people think he can be replied upon to bring order to the world? Here is a bloke that will send your sons and daughters to war to save his own job and reputation, not to help Ukraine!
Don't forget the last diplomacy Johnson was involved in - Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, still imprisoned in Iran because of his ineptitude.
