I swear I am NOT a troll - MNHQ can confirm I am a long time poster who has NC. I would particularly like the opinions of masseuses/masseurs but anyone really.

I get massages all the time and this has never happened before.

Masseur (so male - not a problem, have masseurs fairly often too. Not sexist and not assuming all men are pervs).

During the leg portion of my massage he crossed my leg over and massaged the bottom of my thigh. The bottom of my thigh was over my vulva. It was extremely arousing, obviously. I didn’t really know what to say - he did it on both sides.

I guess my AIBU is - AIBU to think this was deliberate and he knows what he is doing?! Or am I just quite sex starved and bizarre?

I realise people will come on being like why didn’t you say anything but 1) I wasn’t really sure if he was doing anything on purpose ajd 2) to be honest it was pleasant!

So it sounds like his hand movements made your thigh rub your clitoris, which I would (personally) feel was unintentional. If it was his fingers directly against your vulva that would definitely be wrong.

All joking aside though the question is how did you feel about it? If it made you very uncomfortable then you have your answer

I have never had a massage where someone did the thing he did - basically crossing my legs over to massage.

It was the outside of the thigh, but the motion directed into my thigh.

It didn’t make me feel “uncomfortable” more than it made me a little “surely he has to be doing this on purpose”?

Ok, so massage therapist here. I place legs in the position that I think the diagram shows, to get access to the muscles on the sides of the thighs. But no way do I work high enough to be touching any genital areas - we were taught extremely firmly to go no higher than mid-thigh on the inside of the leg. Also, I tend to be using my forearms or knuckles at that point of the massage so it tends not to be a particularly sensual experience (I’m a sports massage therapist…).

So IMO the positioning is fine, but the hands going that high, not so much

I imagine he was trying to get a stretch in, as well as get at your glute. I doubt is was deliberate. But I think that bit of your thigh is likely going to need weekly attention from now on, long hours at a desk can be a killer.
