Does anyone really believe that Boris Johnson has suddenly had to go into isolation? How many times over the past months has he blithely disregarded various rules and guidelines as it suited his agenda? Now he's under a bit of well-deserved pressure, and oops-a-daisy! he's in isolation.

The really depressing thing - about Trump in America, Boris Johnson here, and crass right-wing populist idiocracy in general, is that it will have no effect on voters, bar a little disgruntled muttering. We've created a society in which the scum, not the cream, rises to the top. I dread to think what the next couple of decades are going to be like.

I thought if you're jabbed and boosted you don't have to isolate?
This is exactly what we've been discussing at home today so unless he is showing symptoms there's no need to be in isolation.
He will be back in 7 days and by then matters will have moved on ( or so Boris hopes)

Why does he need to isolate? It said a family member had covid not him so assuming he is actually jabbed then he doesn't need to isolate.
He is absolutely in the fridge hopefully he will stay there for good this time.

They've been aware of her for years, and her donations have always been declared and open to public and official scrutiny. If it was very fucking serious, or even slightly so, it would have been stopped years ago.

Not to mention all the well paid second jobs many of the Conservative MPs have. Only a coincidence that they are in areas that the MPs are working in parliament in. I get it now.....

The advice is that you avoid unnecessary contact with large groups of people - so technically following the rules. I wouldn’t see anyone without disclosing my family were positive - so if true that’s the right thing to do
