@ListsWonderfulLists

Can I join this thread? I applied for DLA for my son in November and my application was received on 23rd November apparently. I just tried ringing to find out when I might hear but couldn't get through. On hold for ages and then it just cut out. I sent them about 80 pages of evidence which was slightly ridiculous but I'm hoping we get it!
They recieved my child's the day before yours and iv not heard anything yet either rang them yesterday and they said they were working on the 19th nov so hopefully not much longer now

Think my ds has been awarded🥰 soooo relieved I just checked my bank and I have a payment going on Tuesday it's an amount I never receive or am due so am guessing it's from dla. So relieved the wait is over going to phone Monday to see what rate he got. He's over the moon he's now officially able to start specialised swimming lessons it's little things that makes all the stress worth it xxx

My sons is a renewal, they received it on 21st October, his is due to run out on 19th Feb I rang Last week and they said they were working on renewal up to 8th Feb so I’m hoping to hear this week coming 🤞🏼 But I have heard of people only having a decision a few days before the existing claim runs out x

Mum2Two91 · 07/02/2022 07:43

Hey all, I’m new here, I have a 5 year old (nearly 6) Son who is currently awaiting his Autism diagnosis. He is currently on HRC and LRM I sent off my Sons change of circumstances as his physiotherapist said to try for HRM as he cannot be left alone due to him having no awareness of dangers, she even put in her report that he needs 1:1 supervision at all times etc. I have also sent confirmation of him awaiting his Autism assessment. I have sent different reports stating his needs with mobility etc, he has severe hypermobility too. Has anyone had the same experience as this? We where knocked back last January but my Son had more assessments after last January which is why I have put in the change. Anyone been awarded HRC? Also been waiting since December I am so inpatient haha!

Mum2Two91 · 07/02/2022 07:45

On my last thread I meant to say has anyone ever been awarded HRM? Sorry!

funinthesun19 · 07/02/2022 09:12

What are the chances I might hear something this week? My son’s DLA is due to end on the 25th Feb, so I’m waiting for a decision on his renewal.
Is this week still too early?

Ysey2 · 07/02/2022 09:48

I rang this morning and they’re working on renewals up until the 23rd. My sons runs out on 19th Feb but it’s not even with a decision maker yet, she said it should be within the next few days and then another few days for a decision, so I’m thinking maybe next week for you?
