Top three options if that was the limit for Xmas dinner?

Mine is probably parsnips, nice carrots and broccoli.

I know I'm going to change my mind when I see other responses.

Ok don't all shoot me at once but I have never had red cabbage on my dinner. How do you cook it? (Easiest way possible please)

Also honey roasted parsnip - is that just oil and honey in roasting tin?

ThursdayLastWeek · 20/12/2021 15:17

Cauliflower cheese
Red cabbage

Not that bothered by the others, though I’ll eat them if they’re served,

PurBal · 20/12/2021 15:19

Potatoes, sprouts, red cabbage

JabNotInArm · 20/12/2021 15:27

Roast potatoes, sprouts, glazed carrots. I'm annoyed about not having Parmesan roasted parsnips though n

JabNotInArm · 20/12/2021 15:29

Oh, so we're excluding potatoes and I've seen some have bunched parsnips in with potatoes in the same bowl.

So sprouts, glazed carrots, mashed swede

MakkaPakkas · 20/12/2021 15:31

Red cabbage, peas, carrots (assuming 2 types of potatoes are included anyway. Two is obvs the minimum allowable)

Squirrelblanket · 20/12/2021 15:37

We only do have three vegetables: sprouts, carrots and parsnips.

Potatoes are their own category.

WhatATimeToBeAlive · 20/12/2021 15:38

LadyEloise1 · 20/12/2021 16:02

Roast potatoes
Brussel Sprouts ( I don't like them but it's traditional )🙄
Carrot or carrots and parsnips.

Ritascornershop · 20/12/2021 16:05

Roasties
Carrots with butter and brown sugar
Roasted onions

DontWiltMySpinachPlease · 20/12/2021 16:06

I'm not going to include roast potatoes on my list because by the time they've bathed in the amount of fat that I use, they've basically lost all nutritionally value!

So proper veg:
Parsnips
Sprouts
Carrots

beenthereboughtthetshirt · 20/12/2021 16:06
