For those of you who still have grandparents alive! How old are you?

Or how old were you when they passed?

I was 16 when my granparents from mom’s side died.

And somewhere in my 20’s when from dad’s side passed.
Although we weren’t in touch at all, not sure why.

I don’t know why I ask, I guess I just realised that I wasn’t around older generation much.

My grandparents died in 2000, 2003, 2013 and 2014. I was 25 when my last GP died.

My DH's family are all still around. My DDs have a great great grandfather who's alive and kicking!

I’m 28 and three of my Grandparents are alive. One Grandad sadly died very young when I was four from lung cancer. My Grandparents are in their 70s so quite young really.

I'm 37 with 2 grandparents still alive.
Grandad is 87.
Nannie is a year or 2 older, she says she's younger than him but she isn't.

My other Grandad died when I was 18. My Grandma died when I was 27.

I’m 44 and my 95 year old Gran is still alive, though she is very frail now.

Had all 4 until I was 31, but I think very lucky.

I’m 36 and still have one, but the first died when I was 9

One of my grandmothers died in childbirth, that grandfather died when I was mid twenties. My other grandfather died when I was 35 and 7 months pregnant with my youngest, my grandmother died four years later. I have a wonderful photo though of her, my mother, me and my daughter, the only 'four generations of women' from my mother's family.

I’m 32 and my nan is 84 and in pretty rude health, all told. My eldest is 12 and so she knows her great nanny well which is really nice. My other grandma died 2 years ago but my grandads died before I was born and in my teens.

My husband is 37 and his 90 year old grandad is also still alive.

I'm always amazed how many people 40 plus still have grandparents.

My last grandparent died when I was 19.

My own parents both died when I was 40/41. They were in their 70s

@Chocolatehamper yes we have that 4 generations picture, it’s so lovely to have!

I’m 37 and both of my mom’s parents are still alive. My grandad is 88 and my nan is 85.

My dad’s dad died about 25 years ago with bowel cancer, and my dad’s mum died 8 years ago just generally from old age.

I'm 31 and have both grandparents on my dad's side, both in their 70s.
My grandma on my mum's side died 2 years ago and my grandad died 10 years before I was born

I'm 35 with one left (90)
DH is 36 and has two grandparents left (93 and 87)

I don't but both dh's nans are still alive and he's 34, neither showing any signs of leaving us any time soon either!! They are 85 and 82

I have one grandmother left age 91 and I am 42.
I lost my grandad at 14, my nan at 21, other grandad at 31 and my dad at 41.

DH's nan is still going. He is 40.

My paternal nan died before I was born and grandad when I was 10. Not sure about maternal grandparents, I think my grandfather on that side went first by a few years and grandmother I think went about 5 or 6 years ago so I would have been around 33 I guess.

My last grandparent died a few weeks ago. I'm 42.

My other half is 34 next month and he still has all 4 grandparents. His grandparents are a couple years older than my dad 😬

In comparison, one of my grandma's died in the 1970s, one of my grandads died 6 weeks before I was born. I was 16 and 21 when the grandparents I met died

I’m very lucky that at 51 I still have a grandmother on my mums side aged 99, and still very with it in terms of conversation etc.

My maternal grandfather died when I was 25

My paternal grandparents died when i was 28 and 30.

Both mine and my husbands parents are all still alive, ranging from 75-88. Must be the family genes

I am 43 and have 2 Grandmothers 93 & 85 and a Grandfather 87

I've one Grandparent still alive she is 93 and I'm 36.
One of my Grandad passed away earlier this year I was 35.
My other Grandad passed away when I was 14 days old.
My Grandma passed away when I was 7
My great grandma passed away when I was 12.
My Great Grandad passed away when I was 5

I’m in my mid 30s and still have 1 grandparent alive, she’s 90.

I had all 4 until I was in my late 20s, the 3 who have now died all lived into their 80s.

I've only had one set of grandparents - maternal side. I've never known my dad or his family.

Anyway, I'm 30. My maternal grandma is still alive and very well (she's 80) but my beloved grandpa died last year when I was 28 and he was late 70's. I wish he could have lived longer 😪

I was 18 when all my grandparents had died. I was the eldest of three, my sister was only 11.

Dad’s parents died before I was born. Maternal grandfather died when I was 7, grandmother when I was 16.

When my eldest was born they had a 1 x Great, Great Grandfather, 3 x Great Grandmothers, 1 x Great Grand father, 2 x Grandfathers and a Grandmother.
