Why do we have to age! Depressing watching The new SATC *[Message from MNHQ: there are spoilers on this thread]

Has anyone seen the new series yet? Well, first two episodes?
Just felt a bit low watching it 🤷🏻‍♀️Eurgh, why do we have to age!

Overall I liked it. I struggled with Steve as a pp said he’s now Herrman! 🤣 The Brady storyline was funny. Anyone else think Miranda will become an alcoholic?

Aging gracefully is fine. Kristen Davis has absolutely ruined her face and looks like a pillow. Don’t get me started on Miranda’s awful wig.

I loved it. Yes they’ve aged, but haven’t we all. Yes it’s sad about Samantha but it’s well known they weren’t friends IRL. I can’t wait for the next one. It’s good to watch something new and it was like seeing old friends.

The things I found depressing were: the shit writing that seemed to ignore the character's personalities as we knew them; the assumption that 50 year old women are completely out of touch with the modern world, even if they live in NYC; the suggestion that hearing loss renders you some kind of useless being; what Charlotte had done to her lovely face.

They are not being very subtle with that plot development, are they? All the chablis before noon requests.

Too late I feel! I want to say all her waffling and confusing is perhaps due to menopause symptoms? Will be interesting to see how it plays out

Ageing is a privilege denied to many. I couldn’t give a toss about “looking older”. I know too many people who didn’t get the chance to go grey, bald, whatever.

If we grow old naturally, we are criticised. If we get work done, we are criticised.

That’s what’s fucking depressing.

Just changing the subject slightly but can some one tell me why everyone is so pro KC over SJP? I’m confused as if SJP was as bad and horrible as KC makes out why does SJP have everyone coming out in support of her. I don’t follow the gossip mags so May have missed something but clearly they had a falling out…..I’m just unsure why everyone is convinced it was SJPs doing when everyone speaks in support of her.
Because based on what KC has said, it sounds like a typical case of bullying of three women against one, and no one else has come out to say that KC was the difficult one or that she’s lying.

I hope they're not going towards some ableist crap with Steve, thats maybe the only group they didn't offend in the series, maybe they're going to try to get there now!

From what I have seen on Twitter, is it true then that Big dies whilst riding on his Peloton and now Peloton have had to put put a statement saying that his death was due to his unhealthy lifestyle rather than because he was using their product at the time?

If a thread is started several hours after the show has been aired it's reasonable to discuss what was in it without having to plaster it with "spoiler alert", don't click on the thread if you haven't watched.

I don't like what they did with Miranda, made her look stupid or as if she's been on a desert island for the last few years. Also not keen on Brady and his GF.

Agree they could have pretended they were still friends with Samantha.

The podcast was a total cringe as was the scene that followed with Big.

I'm sure I will keep watching though.
