Has anyone seen the new series yet? Well, first two episodes?
Just felt a bit low watching it 🤷🏻‍♀️Eurgh, why do we have to age!

I don't know for a fact what transpired between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim cattrall, but they kind of threw Kim cattrall under the bus

Kim felt she was bullied by SJP and co, and didn’t like how her character was portrayed. Sounds like Kim had a point judging by the shade they threw at her!

I am looking forward to watching hoping that it won't disappoint with them dissing Kim. I saw s pic of Cynthia Nixon thought she aged well.

I’d expect to see spoilers when the OP asks if people have seen it, as people will enviably mention things in the episode, but yes there should be spoiler alert just to be clear.

I got just ten minutes in. It made me cringe.

I loved it although not sure what they have done to Miranda she was never stupid!

Miranda was really good tonight, I thought. The scene when she comments on the professor'hair wasmhilarious as she dug herself a deeper and deeper hole.

Looks like wokery is being set I liked Miranda'up for some major satire. I liked Miranda's new passion for causes. She' s heading for some falls.
Carrie looked awful with her hair drawn tightly back. She failed also to convince when she was grieving - she lacked depth.

No, that would be terrible. I hate when shows do that even for minor characters, and Samantha is too much of an iconic character to put another actress in there.

I was never really a fan of SATC and not pushed about watching this series, but what a ridiculous spoiler about Big! The title is about how old the characters are looking, I thought it would be reasonable to expect that a major and unrelated plot twist isn't going to be revealed on page one of the thread but obviously not!

Can someone put a spoiler alert warning in the title!

Knew not to watch after the new Gilmore girls episodes- some (iconic) things should be left alone (see also Only Fools and horses). Also satc the movie 2 was The Worst thing I have seen in my life. Horrendous film (and I was beyond excited for it!!). I'm happy for the spoiler- it sealed the deal for me (but yes I think it possibly needs it in the title even though if you're waiting for something you shouldn't really look at threads about it)

It was utterly awful cringeworthy crap.

True. But Samantha is too much of an iconic character to be replaced by a wokefest assortment of new characters, who bring none of her levity.

Samantha definitely shouldn't have been replaced with a new actress.

Oh god it was terrible wasn’t it! But not because they’re aging. I think SJP and Cynthia Nixon look great. Kristin Davis maybe not so much.

But they’ve made Miranda this terrible bumbling idiot! Like she hasn’t lived her whole life in NYC as a top lawyer but now suddenly can’t string a sentence together while talking to an African American woman. And they’re definitely dumbing Steve down to set up Miranda to have an affair or some sort of relationship with Carrie’s podcast boss.

And Carrie not calling an ambulance, come on. I know it’s a show but ugh.
