Just that really

I have a loved one who has bipolar disorder and to me, this looked very much like a manic episode. If so, I hope he gets the help he needs.

Indeed! I am going to try and find out what they have actually put in the bill, because I got no clue!

Spidey66 · 22/11/2021 23:31

No he wasn't in the middle of a manic episode. He's just a bumbling fool, that's all.

Enrosadira · 22/11/2021 23:31

I second the coke head/alcoholic stance but more than anything the poster who said that it is cleat he can’t give a shit anymore (not that he ever really did - it was just a trampoline for his ego and his retirement. I bet the minute covid hit he thought, I didn’t sign up for this!) and will be going soon. IHe has obtained what he wanted, basically an income doing what he does best: sod all the clown.

He reminded me of watching those student on my post grad doing presentations they clearly had not prepared. It was embarassing to watch even then.

Enrosadira · 22/11/2021 23:32

Oh and no manic episode, just a mix of all the above and the throwing smoke at the nhs bill and god knows what else, ah covid.

TatianaBis · 22/11/2021 23:33

I think he’s got long Covid on top of being a complete tool.

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 22/11/2021 23:34

It's either
Fuck me I've had enough of this job so come on 1922 committee and do your thing
Or
Drugs
Or
Let's distract everyone with a spot of clowning

wheresmymojo · 22/11/2021 23:36

@Cheerfulcharlie

Perhaps it was the after effects of a visit to Peppa Pig World. I seem to remember being quite traumatised from it myself come to think about it.

He's bumbling fuckwit who lost his place in the notes of the speech he didn't write. He couldn't claw it back . And THAT shower of shite was Boris truly winging it.

wheresmymojo · 22/11/2021 23:40

I have bipolar disorder and have never made a royal fuck up like that at work TBH

@Shehasadiamondinthesky

Bloody hell I just watched this and it was just so bloody embarassing, this isn't some awful pissed celebrity acceptance speech it's the prime minister of england. He looks like he's trying to give a serious speech after accidetnally taking acid. We're all a laughing stock world wide now, he needs to get a serious grip. It's not endearing AT ALL.
“Prime minister of England “ if I were one of those rare as hens teeth Scottish Tories Id be deeply disappointed in your lack of UK political knowledge. Thankfully I’m a Scottish independence supporter so please by all means keep the fuckwit for England.
justasking111 · 22/11/2021 23:46

He's bored, skint with a young wife and another baby on the way. I think he does take mind altering substances. His sharp mind has gone. He's on the backfoot now that's for sure.

Between him and Joe biden it's a bit worrying

rubydoobydoo · 22/11/2021 23:46

Doesn't look anything like a manic episode to me (I live with someone with bipolar) - there's none of the abnormally fast speech, and confusion along with the absolute conviction that what he is saying is right.

Looks more to me like someone else has written his speech, he hasn't actually read it before having to give it, and he is at best case tired and worst case drunk!

Boris is skint??

Sam020 · 22/11/2021 23:50

Think he played a game with JR Moggy: how often could he slip Peppa pig into his speech before people stop voting for him...

Peregrina · 22/11/2021 23:51

it's the prime minister of england.

Technically he's the PM of the whole of the UK which includes Scotland, Wales and N Ireland, although I am not sure that he knows that. He is PM for Boris Johnson first, and then for his Tory moneyed cronies and the rest of us can get lost as far as he is concerned.

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 22/11/2021 23:54

Cheese I believe so. PMing doesn't attract a huge salary and he's not one for detail.

CheeseMmmm · 23/11/2021 00:05

He's minted surely. How and why would he be skint?! Blimey.

PM free home and imagine loads of living expenses paid. He got massive amounts for his work for papers etc. Family loaded I just imagined he'd have a shitload of financial interest in loads of things!

SamDees · 23/11/2021 00:07

Yet another distraction for the media to focus on, while under reporting the real shit this govt is doing.
NHS privatisation Bill, acting as if covid has gone away, enriching their friends at the tax payers expense.
Never in British history has a government been so unaccountable.

CheeseMmmm · 23/11/2021 00:08

And what about Carrie I have no idea but guess would be she's got Dosh.

Agree totally. So many things done shock outrage nothing happens forgotten.

In the end it turns out that it's hard to actually do anything if the govt do dodgy things.

Remember the stopping parliament early thing to avoid... Forget what. Lying to the queen so she agreed it?

And so much more.

Trump tactics of just ignore or deny lies even if total record of them seems to be working for them as well.

I say them but I am sure plenty of Tory MPs have head in hands.

CheeseMmmm · 23/11/2021 00:13

NHS privatisation / defending/ etc has been going on for years and years though and never got widespread interest

Hospedia · 23/11/2021 00:34

I hope she's protected it and stashed plenty away because he allegedly told people at a dinner engagement that he has buyers remorse over the marriage and then made an official statement denying he said it despite there being multiple witnesses to his remarks.
