DH-to-be has asked me for ring preferences. I vaguely know what I like but it'd mean a trip to Hatton Garden just to be sure. I find searching online a bit tiresome.

I chose my own engagement ring as the proposal wasn't a surprise it was just a mutual agreement that we wanted to get married as we'd been together for 9 years by that time. We went down to Hatton Garden and I saw this one and it was "the one" then a few years and two kids later I got my eternity ring which I absolutely adore as it's my boys birth stones of sapphire and diamond. I originally wanted a sapphire engagement ring but I'm glad I went for the diamond so I could add the eternity ring later.

I have posted on this thread already but have enjoyed looking at all the sparkly rings! I have uploaded another photo of mine: one that I wear as an engagement ring, one from my dad when I was 21 and one from my late gran. I love purple stones such as amethyst or tanzanite.

Omg this thread is total ring porn! I love them all, but love that yellow diamond halo, the art deco style and antique ones and the coloured stone ones in particular.

I have my late mother's eternity ring though - platinum with diamonds and garnets.

Plain and simple. Still love it 20 years on.

No idea, but off to google! I found it in an antique shop. Less than £100 (wedding ring a bit more...)!
