I found an antique Opal and dropped a huge hint to my dh, he asked me what ring size I was this week - so fingers crossed

I am such a magpie that I still love looking jewellers’ windows at all the lovely sparkly things, twinkling away in the light.

I posted a picture of my ring upthread. I love it but maybe it is not to everbodys taste. Nobody has ever admired it. I have promised myself that I will leave it to the first him or her to admire it

This is mine. It belonged to DHs grandmother who got engaged in 1912 so it's 109 yrs old now. Sadly I've recently lost one of the diamonds out of it so need to get that sorted. I love it.
