I really thought I wanted coloured stones but they really didn't suit me.
Yes - I had the reverse I though I wanted/would suit a classic solitaire which was my first ring but really I'm better with a coloured stone. Everyone's different
I also messed up on the wedding ring side as I've got small hands and short fingers and the combination of 2 rings with not thin bands meant some discomfort and I ended up wearing one or the other and rarely wearing the 2 together
Another really beautiful ring btw
@1forAll74 my first fiancé certainly had fairly strong opinions - but conceded it was me had to wear it. My ex h had a very firm idea re wedding ring he didn't want a plain one he wanted a particular engraved pattern to honour a beloved relative he'd lost.
@Margotshypotheticaldog sadly no.
First 2 were returned to ex fiancé as my parents told me that is what you're supposed to do.
Last one got thrown at ex in the garden during an argument during the marriage breakdown (his infidelity) and was lost. Only reason the wedding ring wasn't was cos I wasn't wearing it at the time.
Sold the wedding ring for a paltry figure (gold really isn't a good item to sell) for money for food in aftermath of split from ex - who had emptied the bank accounts!
Very much regretted throwing the engagement ring at that point as it would have got a decent amount of money!
