Louis Vuitton wallett

Hi I’ve been gifted this LV wallett for a special occasion celebration by DH and I don’t want to sound ungrateful but won’t it just be hidden in my bag most of the time? It’s genuine so cost a lot of money but it’s a wallett isn’t it - so would it be just in my bag or would I carry it around as you would a clutch?

@nimbuscloud he’s personalised with my initials inside that’s not issue tho as I like it but unsure if I use as an actual purse so in my bag and take out when I pay for things OR as a clutch on nights out?

No reason why you shouldn't carry it as a clutch - enjoy your gift however you like.

This is 100% a wallet. All the space there for your cards. The middle zip for your coins and the sides inside for cash. Enjoy it!

It's just a purse isn't it? Tell him to take it back, buy the same style purse from River Island for £18 and book a weekend break instead.

Or, use it like a purse...

I would put it in my purse as a wallet for day to day use and then I would carry it as a clutch if I was going out or just to lunch or something like that. It looks like there's room to put your phone and maybe a lipstick in there and have it still closed which I think works fine for a clutch.

@steff13 thank you. You don’t think it would look odd just carrying it around then? I feel it’s too small and defo a purse purse rather than clutch

Enjoy your gift. You could use it as a clutch or just pop it in your bag like any other wallet. I don't think that's a waste - actually, it is nice to have things that you use every single day be really beautiful and well-designed, even if other people don't see them. It's a little bit of luxury every single day, so enjoy it!

Carry it as a clutch if you'd normally carry a purse as a clutch.

I have the same one (but mine has a pink fastener thing) I’ve had it for years and love it..it’s a wallet and I carry it in my bag…..I take loads of crap with me on a night out though so, for me, it’s not big enough to use as a clutch
