OK I probably am being horrible but I couldn't help but laugh hearing that people are calling Ulrika Johnson 4 X 4 - aparently it has really upset her.

Also, I don't think anyone remotely thinks her children are unhappy or not cared for, do they? I doubt it very much, I think her eldest is the same age as my ds. So actually, she's probably got 2 at school, one about to go and a baby on the way. Nice gaps if you ask me. I hope all the fathers are paying child maintenance.

Spacecadet. Of course it's 'her fault'. She has repeatedly chosen her partners badly and has chosen to have children with them.
To make that mistake as often as she has shows she's a foolish woman indeed.
Maybe she doesn't care though, inthat case any 4x4 comments would not bother her.

It's got absolutely NOTHING to do with my situation has it ??
I am certainly NOT anywhere near perfect and I am VERY hard on myself.
It does not change the fact that UJ ,imo, has not chosen wisely nor learnt from past mistakes.

and unless i am mistaken Kitty hasnt been paid heaps to be on the latest sleb mag saying about her life choices. If UJ doesnt want to allow people to voice their opinions on her situation then she should keep quiet.

So it's lucky us she sells her stories to celeb mags so we can all be sexist about her to our heart's content.

If people don't like her they could always ignore her, but that's not quite so much fun as slagging a woman off for her sex life.

Feminism seems to have passed a lot of women by.

I think thats awful, what about if her eldest children are being regaled with that "joke" at school?
I'm no fan of Ulrika but she doesn't deserve to be slated for her mistakes.

Heavens I am no feminist. I'm no walk over either.
However, to my mind anyone who puts themselves 'out there" is fair game, male or female. I'll quite happily take pot shots all day long.

Kitty, it's obvious that the women who uphold the sexual double standard and slag off other women in that manner aren't feminists. That's what we're all saying.

The stupid thing is that any woman can be the target of this kind of pure woman/fallen woman bullshit, so why some women join in with it so enthusiastically is beyond me. Women supporting sexism is like turkeys voting for Christmas. Not very wise.

Elizabeth. I think they way I look at this situation is that I am having a pop at her choices because they are not great and she choses to exploit them for money.
It's true that I might not be so interested in criticizing a male selb for the same reason, I would find other things no doubt.
I don't think it's healthy to say that a woman shouldn't criticize another woman and that we should all belong to the sisterhood so to speak.

I will not stick up for her because we are both women.

UJ did write her autobiography which did list many of her past loves. So she can't really complain at being called 4x4 now..... although I'm sure that her children have heard worse .

I'm not sure that I could keep having children with new partners though after the first couple of relationshps crumbled....
