OK I probably am being horrible but I couldn't help but laugh hearing that people are calling Ulrika Johnson 4 X 4 - aparently it has really upset her.

Well, I just hope that no-one on MN has refrined from posting here for having 4 children by different dads.

I know I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks about having my third with a different dad to my first two. I never thought I'd have another when we split tbh. But after meeting dp decided I did want another, plus he hadn't had any of his own.

What an insight it is to know how I'd be judged if he fucked off, I met someone else and had another baby, realised he was a loser and then met another guy, was really happy and decided to have what was probably going to be my last, I am right in thinking that Ulrika isn't young enough to keep going for much longer aren't I?

She is a celebrity, whatever one of those is nowadays. If I was a single mother that was bringing up these children on my onw after arsehole blokes got to walk away scot free, I'd damn sure use the tabloids/hello etc to make sure everyone knew what slimy gits they were, and be smiling all the way to the bank with the cheque I got for it.

Obviously I'd use my sleb status for good things too, but they don't get talked about anywhere near as much.

Well I think we should all have different fathers for our kids, Hell I would if i wasn't tied down to dh and my 3 dc by duty and marriage-expectations etc. After all, marriage is a very artificial thing: in caveman times we would have kids by whoever got there first.
And I think someone spent, ooo, hours thinking up the 4x4, which is quite 'clever/funny', if you don'tthink too much about it, (which we obviously have done)

To be honest the phrase 4 x 4 is only an insult because you choose to take it as such - it really is just a statement of fact.

Rod Stewart...always thought he was a dog but he did seem to be head over heels with Rachel Hunter and she was the one who ended that marriage, so perhaps he learnt from his mistakes.

I agree with COD perhaps she should try some contraception, take her time and test out a realtionship a little more before dragging more children into the equation. It is possible to be in a relationship without feeling the need to immediately marry the man and procreate with him.

I am sure none of you read the News of the World (I certainly wouldnt buy it but do get to read it free of charge )After having the affair with Sven Ulrika nicknamed Nancy (who whatever you think of her WAS his girlfriend at the time) "Nancy of the Oil" and taunt her at every opportunity she got, Nancy got a lot of Ulrika column inches & Ulrika kept her failed relationship with Sven in peoples minds.

She does get a lot of mileage out of her private life...there are plenty of celebrities who dont.

UJ is a poor role model to girls who read all the celebrity news and see glamour in it.She should seriously look at herself and work at commitment if only for the children.Seems she is too quick to just move onto the next one.

Have only skimmed thread but I think tihs is an unfair double standard being applied here. afaik Ulrika's first marriage broke down, the father of her second child WALKED OUT jsut after the child was born, when the child had a heart condition - what kind of heartless shit is he? But no, she gets the slagging off. Then she married the father of no 3, ok, that didn't work and now is pregnant again. I don't much care of what I know of Ulrika but I do think having a go at someone for having 4 children by 4 fathers is unfair. And let's face it, she can afford to support them so what's the problem? What's it to any of you? She doesn't hold herself up as a role model, she isn't asking for pity.

I dont think she does necessarily just "move on", she admits she behaved badly with her first husband, Stan Collymore hit her so she would have been a fool to stay with him, the next two left her (I think).

I really dont think young girls are going to be looking at her as a role model anyway, I dont think she would even be on their radar.

Again things like this are only insulting if you choose to let them be.
