to be annoyed DH is going on a stag weekend to Amsterdam?

DH is going on a stag weekend after Christmas to Amsterdam and too be honest, I am not too happy about it. I have heard what really goes on and why men go there, i.e. sex shops, brothels, live sex shows etc.

The blokes he is going with are a bunch of knobs. I have heard the majority of them frequent these types of places (only from what DH has said).

DH went on a stag weekend to Edinburgh a few years back and the guy who's stag party it was, was well up for visiting a brothel and guess what? he is going on the stag weekend to Amsterdam .

AIBU to be annoyed about him going? I am feeling a bit down in the dumps today and keep thinking all sorts about what they will get up too.

Whatever happened to guys going for a few beers at the local? It seems the norm for stag weekends to be held abroad nowadays. WHY is that?

My friend is here & reading this post and wants to know if there are any male prostitutes in Amsterdam? She is going there in January & looking for a bit of fun. I don't agree with this of course .

MotherFunk, I would not take much notice of Star if I were you. She has latched onto you, been quite obnoxious, is not debating well at all, and most other posters have noticed this and left her comments well alone. You should do the same. She/he is just obnoxious, thats all.

Not that I am telling you what to do, but I too would be a little curious as the her reasoning or lack thereof, if I were you. It is just not really worth paying attemtion to, in my opinion.

just to poke my nose in, I just asked dh why would a load of blokes go to amsterdam for a stag do?
and he said - to have lots of sex

btw we have been there, and got pretty caned, but we did visit the zoo. [culture emoticon]

Thanks MF - good idea about all the cheating men on stag dos I didn't think of that .

But she informs me she wants a guy that is sober, good-looking, and good in bed .

JJ you know most of us are just trying to say YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY to have sex. Be it in Amsterdam or elsewhere!

Tell your friend, sex is readily available anywhere if she wants it. No need to blow her self esteem by thinking about paying. Unless it's a fanntasy of course!
Now to come back to Amsterdam, yes the Dutch are quite handsome and quite up to it.
