Today is a big birthday and my husband forgot

Today is a milestone birthday and my husband forgot. He remembered at 6pm and said sorry but we couldn't do anything anyway because of covid.

I feel really sad about it actually because we do usually do birthdays, not so much big presents but we make it a nice day

Feel pretty low :(

Bit late! OPs birthday was in October 2021

@dfendyr

I think the OP has probably moved on from this as it was a year and 6 months ago

@Mumof3boysand1girl you need a new thread as people will just reply to the OP and be annoyed by the zombie 🧟‍♀️ thread.

Flowers sorry your birthday wasn't what you were hoping for though, it's crap.

@1forAll74

Good for you! Most people would like their birthday acknowledged by their partner, especially a milestone one like 40,50,30 etc.

You’re setting the bar pitifully low. I bet you make all sorts of other excuses and apologies for men as well

@Bollindger

Look him straight in the eye, tell him your going for a nice bath, look back and say, I am so glad you did this, as now I can just stop worrying about doing anything for your next birthday.

A dangerous strategy. He may say, "Absolutely fine. Let's just drop the whole birthday thing."
