To ask what your bedroom looks like?

Currently in the process of redecorating my bedroom and itching for inspiration. Would MN be ever so kind to show me their bedroom so I can pinch ideas be inspired by their room? Thanks

Quite old fashioned I guess but works for us.

Mine is shades of yellow.
A mustardish yellow below the wood picture rails (wooden base boards) and a light pale yellow above with a White ceiling.

@toolazytothinkofausername thank you. It’s probably the most complete room in the house! I have a tendency to start rooms and never get round to finishing them….

Having described it, bloody untidy at the moment: on the chests in front of me are: random cushion, paired socks, pile of DH's papers, folded teatowels, heated back wrap, magazine, laundry basket. And if that's bad, my dressing table looks like a bomb landed.

Must be dealt with before DH gets back tonight

Beige taupe and cream with loads of textures and a new super king bed. Multi mirror feature wall , all from cheap shops but it's effective.

Cream walls and cream curtains. Oak bed, old slightly battered oak floor. Old French bedside tables (a €5 bargain from a shop which rescues stuff before it goes to landfill) and two ancient French fireside chairs with green cushions (another bargain from the same source!) although I haven't seen the cushions for some time as there's always a pile of clothes on my chair Modern white Hemnes chest of drawers. Cream rugs. Colourful Sanderson duvet covers. It's a lovely peaceful room.

William Morris wallpaper and the walls are de nimes blue.

The bed is a French antique (Facebook marketplace bargain).

I know dark colours aren’t everyone’s thing but I love it. It’s my favourite room

Cream walls, neutral carpet, king size iron and brass bedstead. Cream and grey curtains, bedside cabinets have matching cloths over them. Two large oak wardrobes and a chest . Very large Art Deco style mirror on chimney breast. Two large pictures that DH bought for me in China so original pictures pained on silk, one of flowers and the other of tumbling pandas and bamboo. Brass bedside lights with cream shades.

Loving all the Victorian looks. Mine is a modern house but my room is very Victorian. Everything is white except my bedding. I think it's easier to dress. Mind you we have just done a massive extension so no energy or cash to decorate just yet

I have polished floorboards, antique 12x12 Chinese rug, pale green walls and crushed silk curtains

The bed frame is white as are the two bedside tables. We’ve got a picture of a dancer on the wall over the bed :-)

@Fupoffyagrasshole would you mind sharing the details of your flooring? Looks perfect for our open plan kitchen/dining/lounge and into hall and shower room, which we are hoping to sort soon.

I prefer restful colours for a bedroom - duck egg, caramels and eau de nil. Anything like purple just screams 'purple!' First off.

I used to have insta ready rooms but then I met DH. He has particular ideas about style but nothing ever goes (I like juxtaposed styles but we’re talking properly clashing)
