To ask what your bedroom looks like?

Currently in the process of redecorating my bedroom and itching for inspiration. Would MN be ever so kind to show me their bedroom so I can pinch ideas be inspired by their room? Thanks

I’ve not got photos but I’ve got pale warm grey painted walls with one navy and silver Art Deco papered wall; dark brown/black furniture and a grey chenille bedstead. Lots of crisp white bedding, navy velvet throw, cushions and curtains. And this chair. I love my room, it’s restful and a mix of slightly Art Deco and slightly masculine. I think about textures a lot, the velvet and the silver and the good quality white bedding work nicely together (I think)

Cream walls, cream and pale green linen curtains, white bed linens. I have a walk-in cupboard to the right of the bed, oak chests in square bay, doors to DH's walk in wardrobe and the en-suite. Fireplace with mirror, one small armchair.

I love the idea of a dark and cozy bedroom!

White walls, textured cream carpet, Habitat Radius oak bed & bedside tables, white bedding, 2 x oak IKEA Malms, silver grey linen textured curtains, framed prints on walls. V boring but minimalist and restful! (As long as it’s tidy…. I can’t take a picture right now as our airing cupboard is broken and needs fixing, so all the bed linen and towels are piled up everywhere on my floor plus a load of DD’s outgrown clothes I need to sort…)

“New York city morning” walls, oak ercol furniture (very mid century in design, I love it) and some patterned grey curtains that I’m wanting to change to something warmer toned but I haven’t found the right ones yet. White beddings with grey cashmere cushions and a big grey throw.

I love that bed!

2 walls dark purple, 2 walls are black wallpaper with glitter specks and butterflies on, thick black velour curtains. White Hemnes furniture.

I need DARK to sleep so it's pretty much black out (have black blinds too).

It's a nod to the 60s to match the rest of the house and after weeks of getting rid of magnolia woodchip went for colour although many rooms are white!

Furniture wise - a very large mahogany sleigh type bed, dark wood bed side tables which are cylinder shape, small, green mosaic bedside lamps, a tall boy which is a cylinder shape too with drawers and a TV on top, a large handmade pine wardrobe, a had carved chest with gold/brass details, an old Ercol easy chair I had recovered with a vibrant fabric with oranges, blues and greens and some dark green curtains. White bedding and a soft lilac wall paint. It's all sort of meshed together since I moved in last year and I quite like it.

After 16 years of no decorating (and a divorce!) I went for purple this time- I think it was purple sage 5 or something. Silver grey carpet, white wardrobes.

But... I'm not sure I can cope with it I think I generally prefer pale walls. I've added a painting to try and break it up a bit but the purple is still a bit overwhelming.

(The weird shadows are cast by the light fitting, which I love)

I’ve got Dix Blue on all the walls but we have lots of white built in storage and floor to ceiling glass sliding doors to the terrace so the walls are very broken up. The Dix Blue is lovely. I have an Eames La Chaise in one corner and a LASKASAS dressing table arrives next week which I’m so excited about.

Our bed and bedside tables are a bit out of place as they were bought for our old house but I’m not ready to ditch them yet. Our floors are dark wood.

Pale blue walls (Dulux holiday blues), grey carpet, white furniture - IKEA Malm ottoman bed and Pax wardrobes. This bedding.

Black metal four poster bed with chandelier light, white walls with a teal accent wall. Black wardrobe and drawers with copper handles. Copper and gold accents and accessories, teal bedding.

I'm in the middle of work on mine, as we recently bought the house. It was magnolia/peach and pretty grim.

So far, it's soft green walls (Farrow and Ball 'breakfast room green'), with what are going to be white painted boards and a dark pink chest of drawers. We've got a copper lamp and a few bits of not-very-posh antique furniture, which is all brown wood. The curtains are Morris and Co Strawberry Thief in duck egg, and the bed is one of those metal frame jobs (which we need to replace).

This is mine not to everyone's taste but we love it x

@Armychefbethebest I love your bedroom, especially the fireplace and the colours you have chosen. I personally dislike anything too bland and love a bit of colour.

@gingergiraffe thank you it's bright but so cosy when we have the little lamps and burners on and in the winter the fire is handy ha ha we tried to go for a morrocan sort of theme x
