Currently in the process of redecorating my bedroom and itching for inspiration. Would MN be ever so kind to show me their bedroom so I can pinch ideas be inspired by their room? Thanks

My bedroom walls are dark grey, curtains are black, white washed wooden floor with a black mat. Bed frame and beside tables are white Beside table lamps are black. Mirror sliding doors cupboard.

It just gives a room a clean feel to it which I love

Some might call it boring but I personally love it

I'm a neat freak and it white makes me happy

Some big rooms here. Great inspiration from all different sizes.
Here is ours, small and very uninspired. Please help with furniture arrangement ideas. Not much space between the bed and surrounding furniture.

At the moment magnolia walls, beige carpet, fitted furniture and grey bedding and curtains. My new bedroom, although I know what the wallpaper looks like I don't have a clue on the rest of cos it's still been decorated and I've yet to get furniture and a carpet for it. I do know one thing though and that is magnolia will not be in sight

Where do you all get your inspiration from? I can decided on a colour but I have never managed to pull it all together, hence mine being a mishmash......

Try Houzz or Pinterest. Some peeps are just naturally very creative & design savvy & some of us just need inspiration & looks to recreate.

Where do you all get your inspiration from? I can decided on a colour but I have never managed to pull it all together, hence mine being a mishmash......

we went to a kit kemp hotel and fell in love with her style. bought ourselves two of her books for xmas and when we finally did our big renovation etc. we brought the books with us everywhere - paint/furniture places etc and told them we wanted this look.

@Pallisers it was actually John Lewis I think but presume they were inspired by Kit & that ilk. I just love pattern & fabrics but blue is my favourite colour so I'm in danger of having a blue house!

Laura Ashley wallpaper, decorated ages ago, but I still love it. Faded red curtains, brass Edwardian style bed. Books. Victorian lamp. My haven!

I love looking through all these. It's much better than looking on Pinterest. Pinterest rooms often just follow trends and lack character. It's amazing to get a little insight into someone's life, and my gut reaction to different rooms really helps me work out how we want to decorate and what would suit us.
We currently have very pale grey walls and pale pink bedding and all white furniture, but I'm finding myself drawn to bold colours. I loved the boho room and the room with the bright yellow duvet and bird wallpaper. I'm loving darker wood furniture too. So when we move I think it's time for a change!

We moved into our new house earlier this year and all the walls were very beige. We went for dark blue paint with a feature wall of wallpaper. Both paint and wallpaper from farrow & ball.

loving this thread and the variety of different rooms, colours and tastes. It's relaxing to scroll through it but is not helping me get dinner prepped We are in the process of changing bedrooms & moving into guest one but navigating new bathroom- stud-walling shenanigans for ages yet Just received the carpets quotation today ££££!....so trying to decide which child we will be feeding and which ones will be just the Bisto kids

Found a wall artist who painted the walls freehand. The wallpaper I loved was extortionately expensive never mind the charge to hang it. Painting worked out cheaper by far and I’m delighted with the result!

Polished pebble is popular! its on my my walls too,with white furniture dark grey carpet and curtains,simple and boring.I have had various colours before but get sick of them about a year in and now just stick to shades of light or medium grey,although i am thinking of painting it a taupeish called Natural Hessian,a good neutral.
