Went into M&S for a coffee today..... my day off with no children, 2 in school, 1 in nursery.....!
In the queue ( always a queue) about 5 people in front and about 10 behind. Looked round and saw that most of those behind had an other with them , ie hubby, frien etc, then about 6 of " the others" all went and found tables.
So there we are with at leasy 6 people sitting at tables (waiting for the other halves- who are way back in the queue behind me)
The people at the front couldn't find a seat
it really drives me mad.... why can't people just wait until they have at least ordered their food or drink. i only had a coffee, iif i'd been able to find a seat I'd have been gone before some of these had even ordered.
Sorry long rant, but really p..... me ... off!!
Sorry, sorry...... just wanted to stand up in the middle of the shop and shout at all the numpties!

what is it with people. Yesterday we went to catch the one bus an hour that has a wheelchair space. Plenty of other buses every 10 mins for everyone else.
There was a woman at the bus stop with a 2yo in a buggy before us and she kept shooting us unpleasant looks. I assumed she was just gawping at dd in her wheelchair. Comes the bus and she sprints on, knocking old ladies flying and parks the buggy in the wheelchair spcae. We get on. Nowhere to go. So we ask her politely to fold her buggy as its in the designated wheelchair space. Her buggy is foldable, a wheelchair is not. Her toddler isn't arching back with flailing lims (a cerebral palsy thing) so can be held easily on lap. I know its a faff but there is a big sign. Gawds was she angry. The bus driver asked her to move so she puts the buggy in the aisle thus blocking everyone getting on and off.
ffs. Its a wheelchair space. Mums with buggies can use it if no wheelchairs get on board but they are asked to fold the buggies if a wheelchair user gets on. Life is crap enough for us with dd with so very disabled that to me, folding a buggy barely registers on the 'faff' scale. This is happening so oftne when we catch the bus into town (its where the hozzies are so we are frequent users) and word has spread to mums that once an hour there's a bus you don't have to fold your buggy up on. Jeez, if I had the freedom to catch any bus I'd be laughing.
So, there's my rant about selfish people and seating issues
