So where are all the middle class parents buying their drugs these days?

Best friend of twenty years had a 'cheeky joint' last night. Sister in law regularly takes coke in social situations. Other sister in law is still a raver and takes MDMA on the reg.

Am I living under a rock or something? Where does one procure such things? I'm genuinely curious. And sheltered, obvs.

What type of chronic pain are you trying to fix? Physios exercises do wonders for back pain - but you do need to do them. Rheumatic/fibro type pain - try eating raw vegetables/sprouted foods for a week - if your pain drops off a cliff, add cooked food back in sloooowly, monitoring pain levels and adjust accordingly.[/quote]
Cool story, bro

Druggie son next door has a dealer who does home delivery. Even with the smell of dope he's the least annoying one.

AcrossthePond55 · 11/09/2021 17:51

Weed? We get it at the weed store. Because it's legal here. It was pretty funny when it was legalized to see the long lines of middle class, middle aged people (selves included) looking a bit sheepish waiting to get inside.

As far as where anyone gets their 'substance of choice' most regular 'partakers' of any ilk have a 'someone' or a 'someone who knows someone'. And you'd be surprised to know exactly who those 'someones' are.

Looubylou · 11/09/2021 17:53

Please don't give these criminals your money.

ZooeyS · 11/09/2021 17:55

Internet or, more usually, the same dealers they’ve used for years.

HappyVagabond · 11/09/2021 17:55

I love how MN users are so morally superior when it comes to drugs. Do they buy their clothes in Primark? Personally I think people eating chicken and eggs from battery farms is much worse morally, but we all have different standards about things I suppose.

HeronLanyon · 11/09/2021 18:00

Yes across ! Going into a weed store in the us is eye opening for sure. I had all sorts of ridiculous worries as here in the uk I’m a criminal barrister and would be disbarred Re any drug use etc. I checked out the cctv and kept my hands in my pockets throughout. Grin can’t speak for those I was with.

GTAlogic · 11/09/2021 18:02

Dh knows a bloke who knows another bloke. As well as the usual stuff that you put in a joint, he buys the weed as chewy sweets so I can have one (I don't smoke and don't want to start). They're good!

Daydrambeliever · 11/09/2021 18:03

@rhonddacynontaf

I am curious to try weed. I feel it could potentially help me with some chronic pain issues. But I don't think I would dare unless it was legal. And yes I've tried CBD. It's crap.
I used to work with elderly MS patients. Loads of them smoked weed for the pain.
SonicStars · 11/09/2021 18:04

Round my way the code seems to be to ask where the nearest petrol station is.
I've been asked it a couple of times, even with my kids, guess I just look the sort.

Maybe try that if you see someone hanging around somewhere?

WholeoftheMoon55 · 11/09/2021 18:07

Most prescriptions of cannabis based medications are private and not on the NHS as the NHS won't prescribe for chronic pain, Anxiety, PTSD, IBD etc. Hundreds of prescriptions on the NHS v 2500 privately.

KatherineJaneway · 11/09/2021 18:21

I'd personally like to buy zopiclone or valiums but I have no idea how. The local news tells us that the streets are awash with the stuff, well I wish I knew which streets and how to go about getting it.

Me too.

Why not just ask for a prescription?

Because GP's don't want to give it to you. They give you a tiny amount of tablets at the lowest dose if you ask. You used to be able to buy them legitimately online but no more.

All those people staying Snapchat, I have Snapchat - who do you ask?

EIIa · 11/09/2021 18:24

@Stealhsquirrelnutkin

I just wish it was legal to grow your own a few plants for your own consumption. it would be nice to have an organic herbal remedy for my horrible rheumatic pains.

I'd get rid of some of the tomatoes in the greenhouse and replace them with magic herbs.

I believe it is possible to buy seeds from different strains that are more like the old fashioned stuff we used to enjoy in the 70s, but if I did try to grow any in the greenhouse other people would smell it and it vanish in the night before i got round to harvesting it.

Or they might decide to let me harvest and cure it then come round and rob me of the finished result. Either way I fear it would attract the wrong kind of attention.

@Stealhsquirrelnutkin

You can! We buy seeds and grow
We do it inside

BleachEyes · 11/09/2021 18:25

Grow our own. Not middle class though.

I dont buy primark, I dont eat battery eggs and I dont give money to drug dealers. It is possible to do all these things you know. But you keep on funding drug dealers, enjoy your organic boiled eggs when you get the munchies.
allfurcoatnoknickers · 11/09/2021 18:37

Weed is legal where I live Grin, so they're buying it from dispensaries. You can also get it delivered like a take away.

HirplesWithHaggis · 11/09/2021 18:42

It's an odd anomaly in the UK that it is legal to buy and sell cannabis seeds, growing medium (choices of), specialist plant food, grow tents, lights... all legal, and quite possibly in a large store near you as well as online. But put the seeds in the medium, feed them, keep them lit, and you're committing a criminal offence.

I don't think I said that I take drugs. That was your assumption.

HappyVagabond · 11/09/2021 18:51

I don't eat eggs either Grin

Slippy78 · 11/09/2021 19:02

I get my weed online. It means that I don't have to run the risk of dodgy dealers with underweight or tainted product, getting caught with it in the streets on my way home or getting mugged.
The site I use sells only organic, medical grade product with accurate descriptions of the strength, quality and indica/sativa proportions as well as customer reviews for each batch. They usually have 20+ strains available depending on what you want it for as well as a range of edibles, shatter and vape liquid.
They are a very professional business who rely on their reputation to survive. When I have had rare mistakes like missing items they have resent them no questions asked. Their customer service is far better than most legal companies I've ever had to deal with.

GoingOutOutNEVER · 11/09/2021 19:15

Why not ask the people who are doing drugs?

rhonddacynontaf · 11/09/2021 19:15

There's an ice cream van outside my house right now. Should I go and ask for some drugs.

You see, I've long suspected CBD sellers of doing this but never actually seen them selling weed with my own eyes
