How often do you and your dc eat McDonald's?

I don't drive and there isn't one within walking distance so for us it's a rare thing on day trips. I'd have one more often as I'm rather partial to a McFlurry or a veggie deluxe meal and dc think it's the height of excitement Grin and think I'm a bit mean that we can't have one as often as their friends. Is it a treat? A regular thing? Just something quick and cheap to grab? No judgement from me, just curious as to what's normal as apparently I'm not normal 😂

I've had one in the past 25 years. It was a huge disappointment.

@Xmasbaby11

Only once a year I think, for DD's birthday because she loves it.

If we eat out there are just so many cafes, pubs and restaurants to choose from, and likewise, with takeaway, we really have everything as we live in a city. The kids are fussy but will find something we like if we order from Turkish, Chinese, Indian, Italian or chippy. I must admit they would prefer McDs, but I'm not keen!

See, I wish this was us. My son has anaphylactic allergies to some nuts and eggs (we carry epi pens) which is complicated by the fact that we live overseas in a country where the wait staff don’t always speak English very well, so it’s hard to explain what’s safe/unsafe for him.

McDonald’s is one of our very few safe places. We go there often because our eating out options are pretty limited. Pizza Hut is mostly fine, Baskin Robbins is mostly fine - that’s it.
