How often do you and your dc eat McDonald's?

I don't drive and there isn't one within walking distance so for us it's a rare thing on day trips. I'd have one more often as I'm rather partial to a McFlurry or a veggie deluxe meal and dc think it's the height of excitement Grin and think I'm a bit mean that we can't have one as often as their friends. Is it a treat? A regular thing? Just something quick and cheap to grab? No judgement from me, just curious as to what's normal as apparently I'm not normal 😂

Once a week, delivered. It started as a treat to help us through the first lockdown when everywhere was closed, now it's a little tradition. She only eats the nuggets though.

There was a recent ad campaign which I thought was really morally dubious. It was appealing to people who can't resist a McD's when they're home alone... something along the lines of "what you eat in your own time is your own business", "No one has to know...." etc.... I thought it was a bit manipulative and playing on people who are trying to cut back on eating rubbish.

For many reasons I don't like McDonald's ethically and do want to cut down, but it tastes very good and is somewhat addictive (to me) so it's hard.

Never and I just don't understand the love it looks vile and tastes worse. The smell of the store turns my stomach

3 or 4 times a year - maybe on a dc birthday, when we get off the ferry at 10pm before a 4 hour drive home and after a ballet exam. Very occasionally if we’re back late from somewhere and there’s no food in the house (happened perhaps twice ever).

It’s just not food we eat!

Once a year when at a service station. I'd pick kfc if there was both available. I do live near a macdonalds but never been in. My dd is 5 so hasn't asked for one yet, but I guess the time will come!

I don't like it so avoid it where possible. DC and DH love it and probably go a couple of times a month.

I went the other day. I got lost on the way home, cried and then ordered 3 portions of fries and a cup of tea.

I may or may not be pregnant..

Other than that probably once every 1-2 months.

I didn't eat there for about six years. Now we'll order it once a month. I like the milkshakes and the dogs get a (dog friendly) happy meal 🐶

Probably once or twice a month, normally when we, sorry I, can't be bothered making anything for tea.
Last had it on Friday, ended up being a bit of a late day for various reasons so got it on the way home.

Once a month maybe. I'm not overly fussed on the main menu but DD likes it because she gets a toy.

The breakfast menu is another story, I could eat a double sausage egg mcmuffin every single day but unfortunately we only go there for breakfast on the rare occasion that we're up super early on a trip or something.

Dcs i think about once a month - dh and I never unless nothing else was available - it's flavourless crap - I don't get the attraction.

Used to be once a week in termtime because their Friday evening activities were opposite.

After that finished, think I've been in twice for a coffee and DP probably once when on tour because they needed the toilet.

Feeling ashamed by these comments. Quite often once a week here. Sometimes we'll have something else instead though so sometimes once every couple weeks. Usually take away once a week for sure though. Oops...

My son gets one as a treat after a haircut, with dad - about 4-5 times a year. Plus as a family after bowling - maybe 5 times a year.

Never, and my kids have never had one. There's junk food and then there's McDonalds. It barely qualifies as food.

DD doesn’t because she’s too young.

My visits vary but they tend to correlate with the frequency of my hangovers.

Only when we travel to see family as that's at least 2-5hr drive. So once a half term or so.

I've only had about 8 or 9 in my life. We had one last week as we were starving after a hospital appointment and it was on the road between hospital and work and I was rushing to get back for a meeting.

I thought it was horrid, I will continue trying to avoid it wherever possible 😂.

Once every couple of months maybe? It tends to just be a convenient quick tea for the kids, and me and dp will probably just get some fries.

Dp will also get me one if I'm really, really hungoverGrin One of the many reasons I love him!

Once a week in between dashing to clubs. It’s on the way is quick and I know they’ll eat it!
