Currently in a debate with a 19 year old nephew about transgender issues.

I believe gender is a social construct. But:

I don't believe in puberty blockers for 10 year olds.
I'm currently on my third IVF cycle and for this reason I'm not convinced young people (over 18) should take hormone replacement therapy.

Been reliably informed this makes me a Karen. AIBU?

I haven’t seen any post calling you a ‘cunt’ so I won’t comment on that. You think insulting women by calling them ‘Karen’ is ok though so I will call you out for that. Whether you directly use the term yourself or not, you’ve stated you see no issue with others using it which is just as bad.

The "cunt" referred to the person using misogynistic slurs (and if you've never used the term she was discussing, what's the issue). It was very very clear. Read it back and replace the word cunt with the word misogynist.

I’ve not backtracked at all. I’ve said that if the victim of racist abuse wants to refer to the racist as Karen then that’s their prerogative.

I’ve not deviated from that position at all.

Facts are indeed facts. You were not called a cunt. You do not need the post explained to you further as I'm fully convinced you understood what was said at the time but chose to misrepresent it to make a point.
You've continued to accuse people of "conveniently missing" things and implied that I've only criticised you as I don't like that a BAME person has the "temerity to have an opinion". Nice work copy and pasting the middle part of the post. I’m sure if anyone else would like to go back and have a look they can see the start of the post where I refer to “we”. I am referring to how we, as adults, should not shit on each other, we should call out racism when we see it but do so without being a cunt to another group of people.
